Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - West Course

Our 4some completed our round in 3:20. The condition of the course was far better than other courses in this price range. The marshal made sure we were happy with the pace. The pace and condition of the course was far better than Oyster Bay, Legends and Eagle's nest.

We enjoyed the course. The starter was friendly and gave a few tips. We were paired with a couple of kids on Spring break...hope it was good with them. I think we could have been their grandparents age!

The course was in nice shape. The only complaint would be that the bunkers had almost no sand in them. Difficult to play and hit dirt just below the surface.

This course was in very good condition. Its not that hard, but great for a beginner golfer. We brought one and with pace of pace being slower in front of us, we were able to keep up. I would play this again and was a decent value.

Everything was great! From the staff to the course itself. The course played very fair and was well maintained. Great layout too. Overall fantastic experience.

Sure, it's not as nice as the North course, but it's very good. I prefer it over the South course though. Pace of play was a bit slow as there was some local special going on but it was acceptable. Drink cart out on a cool weekday was a nice touch. Not too much water but the sand had some high lips to get out of. Would play again

Great amenities. You have to check out all of the Arnold Palmer pictures in the clubhouse. Fun course, will play again.

Love Myrtle Beach National West! Fantastic green conditions and the fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes were clean and beautiful.

This was our first time at the course. We were paired up with a local single who helped us with some of the tricky spots. Water did not disadvantage us and we found the fairways receptive. The greens were challenging because of sloping, but we were advised this would be the case before we started. We had a good time although the cloud cover could have remained in place to make the experience a little better heatwise.

The starter drove around a couple different times. But we had a 4 some in front of us and would have been very nice for them to have let us play through. But they had no interest in that!

Not the starter’s fault by any means! But I did see him drive around a couple times and I feel that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have the starter or any employee who is driving around and if they SEE a group of pairing waiting to check on playing thru. Just an idea. Honestly, my brother and I went golfing together and our family was back at the condo since we are on vacation from Wisconsin and the round too WAY longer than it should have.

Not to difficult course in great condition with friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings. Play well organized.

Greens were not great. Didn’t get true role. Fairways were not great, sandy and lacked grass in places and a couple of tee boxes were in very poor shape. Expected more from MB national. Will likely not play again (at least the west course)

Very crowded that morning we teed off probably 30 minutes after our tee time, pace of play was very slow first couple of holes but once everybody got going it got better, my husband and I really enjoyed the course.
