Miccosukee Golf & Country Club - Marlin Course

The course is in great shape, but the facilities are in the midst of completing the parking lot, and construction is still underway.

Using Golf Now, I paid via the internet, and had to pay again, once I signed in… when I explained that I had already paid, they referred me to Golf Now.

Play is very, very slow, it took us a good three hours, to finish 9 holes, so we opted not to finish the back nine.

Overall very pleased with this course. Played the dolphin/Marlin set up. I was a single, and was paired with a husband and wife couple. We never waited on a tea box, we finished in just under four hours. Staff was friendly. Of course, with an excellent shape. Greens were great. Looking forward to playing here again very soon.

It’s a nice course and layout, but they’ve really jacked the price with the rebuild of the clubhouse. I wouldn’t pay full regular price, not worth it. I only played it because of the GolfNow deal, and I use to be a member of this course. Way overpriced now for what it is.

Just played the Dolphin/Marlin loop at Miccosukee Golf and Country Club, and the layout definitely delivers. It’s a highly varied and challenging track with water hazards constantly in play. This course demands precision off the tee, as the fairways are tight and the greens are very narrow. Overall maintenance is in top shape—fairways provided great lies, and the greens were firm and rolling lightning fast. Due to the heavy rain over the previous days, the bunkers were packed and compact, but still fully playable.

My only complaint is the current arrival logistics. Due to ongoing construction, the parking lot is a mess. There is no designated bag drop area, so you have to unload your gear yourself, walk through a section cordoned off with caution tape, and there are absolutely no signs directing you to the pro shop. Fortunately, this logistical headache is temporary and easily fixable. In short, it's an excellent, well-manicured course best suited for mid-to-low handicappers (under 21), as high handicappers might find the demanding design a bit too punishing.

I think I'm cheap but I would have thought for $93 would have gotten a little bit more premium experience. There was very little guidance when I got there on the where to go. No course Marshalls to guide us. I got stuck behind a group. The amenities in the clubhouse look like they're going to be great what's the renovation is done.

Course is undergoing major renovations and would be best served by closing to the public until they are completed. No clear signs to direct golfers from one hole to the next. The golf carts are old and in terrible running condition. Ours kept stalling until it finally died on hole 6. The gentleman who came to get us was pleasant but same cannot be said of the clubhouse attendant who was rude and surly. Will never return and advise others to not even bother.

Golf carts don’t work and the course is not nearly as nice as the pictures online.

I live on the border of Dade and Broward County we have received over 10 inches of rain in the last week. I called 8 to 10 courses to see what the conditions were and when I called this course, they said it was 90°. The course was in incredible shape and I’ve never seen the greens roll that well. Everyone was extremely nice and the starter did what he could to put me in the proper place..

just really enjoyed the course conditions. the fairways, greens, and bunkers feel great. awesome experience. huge thumbs up to the maintenance crew.

Easy check-in and the course is in noticeably better condition than the last time I played, especially with the irrigation improvements. Greens and tee boxes were well maintained, and the newer clubhouse and restaurant are nice upgrades. My only issue was being moved to Barracuda as a single because it was supposed to be faster, only to end up directly behind a slower foursome. I would have preferred to wait for my group of 3 that I was being paired with, especially since there was open space ahead of them. Overall, a solid course that continues to improve, although the setting is fairly open and surrounded by houses so not super aesthetically appealing from a visual perspective. .

Always have enjoyed this course. Staff is always friendly and for this time of year the golf course is decent shape but the greens were slow/bumpy due to recent aeration. Pace of play was terrible - 3hrs for 9 holes which in my book is outside of acceptable. No rangers were ever visible trying to improve the pace of play.

Almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. Greens were very bumpy could never hit a true putt. Don’t book 18 holes unless you have 8 hours to spare!

Pro shop attendent was cordial and extremely professional, great way to start your round. Course was in good condition, pace of play was perfect. Greens had been punched probably a week ago, but still quick and true. Will definitely come back
