Miccosukee Golf & Country Club - Marlin Course

105 dollars to play 9 holes. I booked a single for 18. I arrived 30 minutes before tee time, paid and checked in with cart staff. I was unable to get my own cart due to the rules on the weekend of no single carts. The staff drove me to the 3 some group i was playing with so I can set up on one of their carts. The group in front of us had two guys in their own carts. The rules are applied whenever they want, without consistency. It took us 30 minutes from our tee time to finish the first hole. We had to wait on every single shot. By the time we finished the 9 holes, we were beyond frustrated. It took us 3 hours. I was playing with 3 members that said go to clubhouse to see if the can issue a partial refund or partial credit. No such luck, the lady at the front desk was very nice and said she needed to call her manager. She called and was told that if I played for 18 they’re are no credits. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Course is run very unprofessional and without any car for their patrons. They stack tee times extremely close without any care for pace of play. Horrible experience

Balance of relative affordability with beautiful, challenging courses and excellent upkeep. There are three 9 hole courses that you can mix and match to play 18. Less swampy and buggy than crandon but just as beautiful.

The course is in really solid shape for a semi-private/public course. For 60$, you get a lot for your money. The layout is rather boring, but has several great holes. I would 100% go back again.

I played the Dolphin and Marlin combination. Courses were in great shape. Short par 5’s but well placed bunkers made it challenging to go for it in 2. Play was a bit slow for me, but in all fairness it was a mid day Saturday round. Since there are three 9 hole courses, they really can improve on clearly marking directions to each course. If you are new to the course finding 1st tee for each 9 is very confusing.

Course was remodeled and is in great shape. Pro shop and restaurant also looking good and invite you to stay for drinks and food. Only issue is they don’t have rangers making sure groups are moving at a reasonable pace, players get frustrated waiting once the course gets backed up.

$11.00 a beer is a little bit too much, thanks god the water is free

I played here for the first time. I played the 9 hole Barracuda course. I had a hard time initially understanding yhe layout of the 1st hole. The beverage cart young lady was so helpful!

This course is very well maintained. The layout and the water positioning makes it super challenging. Playing from the whites, #1 you have to avoid not one, but two water ways in order to reach the green.

I found it extra challenging because I wasn't familiar with the layout. On the longer holes, it was hard to track shots due to rolling hills fairways. The greens were some of the best that I have played this year!

Now that I am more familiar, I look forward to playing again.

I played dolphin-marlin. Friendly staff in pro shop and carts. There was no starter so I joined another.player.pace of play was excellent. Both 9s were in great shape considering there is a drought but there had been some recent rain. Both very challenging but fair courses. Would definitely go back.
