Blair Park Golf Course
About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Slow moving
Lots of twosomes and singles on Saturday. Wish they had paired us in order to keep the pace. Tooo cold to be sitting a waiting a long time on every hole.
Enjoyed all the hills on this course. We were able to tee off earlier than our appointment. The rangers were friendly! We did not eat at the grill so we can't comment on that. It doesn't have a driving range but a practice area and putting green. The carts were equipped with USB ports.
glad I got to play here
very enjoyable round. Greens are excellent. Fairways were still in the process of draining but not bad. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly. It didn't hurt that I was hitting the ball half decent for a change. If you're in the area you should stop by.
Cool weather, good condition, friendly staff, great value
Blair Park always has a friendly staff. They make you feel welcome and want to be a repeat customer.
Great value yesterday, even better with 2 $10 online Golf Now coupons.
Cool weather and wet, cart paths only.
Greens were in the best shape I've ever seen at Blair Park. Kudos to the maintenance crew, working hard on the course from tee to green.
Went out as a single player and joined up with a nice playing partner on the 7th hole. Slow foursome in front of him.
Pleasant round of golf, with nice conversation. It is essential to have the camaraderie that golf provides, especially during the pandemic.
A note here to state that Blair Park has made every effort to keep golfers and staff safe and healthy, adhering to Covid 19 safety protocols.
I highly recommend Blair Park to everyone. It is a great playing experience.
You must be able to play to the angles as it is a shot maker's course.
Thank you.
Great Greens
Greens were perfect. Pace of play, horrible. To be expected with +60 degrees in December, but not as bad as this was.
Wet and wild
As we expected, a very wet front. Lots of chunking however, excellent greens and as usual the back nine was outstanding. Heck, it's winter... Give and take.
Thanks again for a wonderful time.
Good condition, friendly staff, scenic, great value
Blair Park was an excellent value yesterday on Golf Now for $18 (18 holes).
The staff, especially Chip, are always friendly, helpful, and professional.
Got joined up with a foursome, very nice people. The camaraderie was terrific.
Good course conditions. Only complaint is that golfers need to repair their ball marks on the greens. Some putting surfaces were slow, others faster on downhill putts.
Weather was perfect, providing a perfect fall day.
Although I struggled with the short game, overall play was good.
Blair Park offers challenge, value, nice staff, and good playing conditions.
This course is on my rotation of Triad public courses.
Good condition, friendly staff, scenic, great value
Blair Park provides an excellent golf experience.
Value, combined with staff friendliness, goes a long way to consistently make Blair Park a "regular" on my rotation of local courses.
Chip, The Assistant Pro, is always helpful, friendly, and professional.
Blair Park offers challenge, starting out with two par 5's.
Course condition has improved. Greens are slow, so an adjustment from playing faster putting surfaces.
Scenery on holes 12-14 is outstanding.
Pro shop is well-stocked. I purchased 4 dozen golf balls at a reasonable price. This should last into 2021.
I definitely recommend Blair Park for a "nothing fancy" pure golf experience.
