Blair Park Golf Course
About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Wide open.
I love how the course was wide open. I didn’t like the fact that I had to wait for golfers ahead of me on every single hole. I wish they would spread the teetimes out a little bit more so didn’t have to wait. Great course in middle of the hood.
Descent for the price.
Slow but firm greens. Playable fairways. Extremely slow pace, especially for a Tuesday.
Good to be back
After a two month hiatus due to rain and a heart attack, it was great to be back at The Park. Greens were coming back from needed airreation and can't wait to play them in a couple weeks. Still some wet spots but the dryer conditions added needed yards on my drives. Thanks to Tommy for meeting up and can't wait to return.
Good job the the city of High Point
Slow pace today
3some with 2 small children running around on greens. Didnt let us play thru for entire back nine.
Club house staff awesome!
Great conditions, friendly staff, and good value.
Blair Park delivered another wonderful golf experience.
Rachel, in the pro shop, is friendly, helpful, and professional.
Chip took my order for golf balls and had them held for when I played.
The weather was perfect, warmer with a little wind.
Greens were in good condition, rolling consistently.
I started out by myself. Was joined up with a nice player due to slow playing twosome in front of us.
Blair Park offers a friendly atmosphere, great value, challenge, and scenery.
I highly recommend Blair Park to everyone as an affordable public course in the Triad.
The worst
I played here at the last minute. The marshal should spend less time on telling players to keep their cats on the path and more time urging players to keep the appropriate pace. It was common for 2 groups to be waiting on the tee together. Will never revisit here again.
Pace horrible
The marshals should worry less about driving in the rough and more about pace. Wast of money.
First time
Loved the course ! We went after several days of rain and actually the course was very playable . Interesting back nine. Staff was extremely friendly. Great value for the money . Would definitely play it again
