Blair Park Golf Course
About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

good course
this is a good course, with a variety of shots required
Soft greens hold shots
The course was in good condition. The rough was not cut too deep to make it difficult to find your ball. Pace of play was a little slow with a foursome in front of us, but they let us through and we had no issues after that. Challenging holes yet very approachable and possible to score good. No bunkers in front of the greens are allowed amateurs a chance to get the ball to roll onto the green. Overall a very enjoyable round of golf.
Good Layout
Course had just been aerated and greens were bumpy.
weel maintained
conditions was good considering all the rain in the area for the last month
perfect day and round
I played Blair Park on a $14 Golf Now green fee.
The staff is very friendly and professional.
Greens are in good shape. Tees are nice. Fairways need a little more grass.
The course is fair, with small, quick, consistent greens.
Great value and fun to play.
I highly recommend Blair Park to everyone.
A bargain!
Excellent greens and friendly staff at bargain rates.
Blair Park Golf Course
Played Blair Park Golf Course for the first time today. Being as it was Easter Sunday, the course was not very busy. The course is located in the heart of High Point. The clubhouse is spartan, but well stocked. The staff could not have been more friendly. The facility has new electric carts that are in great condition. The front nine goes out and back along a corridor of electrical towers, while the back nine winds through a neighborhood. The course provides ample room off of most tees, and driver will be the play often. The greens are on the smaller side, but are generally flat. The room off the tee and benign greens make this course great for all levels of player. There is some elevation change on the front nine, but more on the back nine. Water comes into play on several holes, generally in the form of creeks that run across fairways. There is a large creek that runs parallel to the 13th fairway that will catch any shot lost to the left. Most holes are straight away, but there are a few holes with late doglegs (inside of 100 yds).
The greens had been punched 12 days ago and are about a week away from being back to normal. Most of the bermuda on the course is still dormant as well. I will definitely come back to play this course in the summer when it is completely green. I could tell that it will be in great shape when this happens. There was a drainage issue in the 1st fairway that they were working on. I think it's also important to mention that the aforementioned power lines come into play on quite a few of the front nine holes. I had two balls hit the lines during my round.
Nice course
Friendly staff, the course is a wide open course but does not take away the challenge of the game. A great course for players with some experience.
Good time
Played on a Monday course was not real crowded. The course was nice, greens rolled well at there usual speed. Good time with friends
Love it

The is a value play. For the money this is a fun course; just don't expect too much with the course conditions.
Renewing an old friendship
The course was in really good shape, the greens roll really nice. It had a few wet spots from the rain, but overall really good.
It's being a couple years since i played The Blair.
