Golfer Reviews
green conditions excellent; greens keepers inconsiderate
I usually enjoy playing this course but the maintenance staff is overly fond of these deafening huge blowers many times blowing leaves and dust at the players. Plenty of other courses I can be giving my business.
These folks take GREAT care of their course
I’ve played this course multiple times, and it never gets old. My dad actually drives 40 minutes to play this course because it’s so incredibly well maintained. The greens are tough and very fast, but have very little to no damage what so ever. We love playing there and will continue to do so. Many thanks to the maintenance crew!
Nice Day and Round
I usually play Monroe two to three times a year, because of the drive. It never disappoints. The fairways are always nice and greens are smooth and fast. I like the mix of holes and target golf needed to hit the smaller greens. I may have to make more trips. Its a great value for the money. There's not a lot of off course amenities, but I'm only concerned with playing golf and the on-course experience.
Great Value, Hospitable Staff, well maintained
Course was beautiful. Money gets spent on maintenance. I had a blast. This course is a real value. I only wish my State would promote courses like this instead of closing them wholesale; but that's mismanaged California I guess. Hat's off to NC and Monroe Country Club!
