About
The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

Playing conditions were good
The staff was very friendly and helpfully. The course was in very good condition. The play was slow and the slow players wouldn’t let a twosome play thru, even though they were obviously beginners. Once they we skipped two holes and played them at the end, it was a very enjoyable day.

A hidden gem!
First off I want to say that the staff was very friendly! The gentleman at the pro shop told me about the course layout and was very attentive. The course starts and ends (hole 1 and 18) with a beautiful view of the waterway on the right. Be aware that there are lots of water hazards! The greens were pristine and rolling pure. The fairways were also in great condition! I definitely would recommend checking out this course. I paid about $30 for 18 and it couldn't have been a better deal. I've been to courses twice the price that don't even come close to this one.

Just meh
Greens rolled nice and fairways were ok but the layout was not for me. Too many holes shoe horned into housing. First 4 holes are ridiculously tight. On No. 4, better players can tee off with a 9-iron and still have a wedge in. The holes where I could actually use a driver were decent but this course is more suitable for seniors and short straight hitters, not scratch golfers. Played in under 3 hours but caught a foursome on 16 that wouldn’t let me play through.

Great fairways and greens. You still have to keep the ball out of the water, but lots of fun and challenges.

The greens have come a long way from their condition in early May. They roll well and they hold a high shot.

Island offers better
Sand! Sand! Sand! And not in the bunkers. Fairways and greens just lined with sand. The layout is nice but for the money, on vacation, I’d spend $5 more and go somewhere else nice. Also, no turn so you have to pre buy everything, no food offered on the course and can’t carry your own. There were locals jumping in front of us and playing random holes then going home. First and last time we will play this one on vacation

Don’t go
Friendly staff and great course layout. However the greens were horrible. Majority of them had markings of ground under repair and were recently punched and very sandy. I may go back one day but will not book online unless I call in advance to find out about greens. Price charged not worth the value received.

I played this course several years ago and it was in great condition. Today the course needs a lot of work. Sad because it could be so good. Beautiful views of the waterway and some challenging holes. Greens need a lot of work and the tee boxes on several holes are rough as well. Lots of sand bunkers that need some attention. It was $35 after 12 which was probably a fair price for the condition.

Course needs some TLC. Greens were areated but nothing notified that prior to booking. Multiple greens were bare or not upkept well. 75% of the course was in solid condition, and overall was a good value. Not top dollar green fees and not a top dollar course. Multiple holes had great water views. Course is continuous and pro shop doesn't have a great food and drink selection.
