About
The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

Greens are bad
Nice layout. No beverage cart. No drinking water to buy at the proshop. Greens are awful and need much work. Tee boxes are worn out. No practice putting green.
Old foggies course
Thought I had a 9:40 tee time, but confirmation email was for 9:50. Got there, checked in, & was told we’re on the tee box. Got there & men’s group was in #1 fairway.
Tried following them, but after 2 hours had only played 7 holes. Tried to skip 6 holes o get around. Played a couple more holes, then quit.
One of the groups had a couple old guys that looked crippled & could barely move. One got in sand trap & had to be pulled out.
Course needed lots of maintenance, lots of dirt & dried out areas,

Best value around
Excellent views of the intracoastal waterway to start and end the round. Many holes with water along the edges to punish errant shots. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were true but some are still being worked on to get a good stand of grass growing. Take drinks and food with you from the pro shop, since you do not come back until end of round and there is no cart service. Sometimes you may need bug spray near the marsh areas. Definitely plan to play here again.

poor greens
the greens were in very poor condition. The golf super was apparently on vacation. the fairways,tee boxes and traps were all in fair condition but the greens needed big time work .

Great value
The course was in decent shape and good design. Everyone was friendly and course was worth the. Short trip from Ocean Island- I played III twice the week I was on vacation. Give it a try.

If only the front nine was as in good condition as the back nine!
Booked this course thru Golf Now app for $44 for a 2 ball! At that price we were prepared to take a chance. A good and friendly welcome was soon crushed by the condition of the greens on the front nine. We were after that these greens had had a fungal infection and were nearly lost! Despite this the design provided some good holes. The back nine was in better condition and impressed. Wouldn’t recommend the course until those front nine holes are sorted out, hence only 3 stars.

Best value for your golfing dollar
Want to start and finish a round with one of the Best 1st holes in NC and finish with 3 of the most challenging hole. Then Play here. I've been playing golf in the Carolinas for 15 years and for the Money this is the best Value and layout. The greens could use some tlc but the layout was great.

southern summer heat
The course layout is very good, however, conditions were not. Driving range is virtually non existent. When you go on line to book, problems such as temporary greens should be identified. Spending some money would make this a very good course.

Poor condition
Course is in very bad condition. Crabgrass like weeds in fairway, greens patchy, fire ant nests all over course, temporary "green" that is laughable etc. etc. Whole course needs a rework. Cart paths are so bad; half the time you are not sure where they are. It was a very depressing course to play.

Layout great. Poor.fairways and greens. Driving range terrible.

Some of the greens and T-boxes were in kind of rough shape, but other holes the course was in great shape. Starter was extremely helpful.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
THE COURSE WAS NOT WELL MAINTAINED GREENS WERE ROUGH AND SLOW TEE BOXES HAD SOME TALL GRASS AT TIMES AND VERY LITTLE GRASS LEFT ON SOME COULD BE A GREAT COURSE WITH A LITTLE TLC AND IF THEY CAN SAVE THE GREENS OH YEA 2 OFF THE PAR THREES HAD TEMPERARY HOLES .
