About
The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

The course was making some adjustments, a few holes had temp greens. I enjoyed it anyway. I think next summer this will be a great course.

Fun and a good value
Yes, there are a couple bad spots on the green and the tee boxes are a little rough.
But, this course is cheap, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is good and its got holes right on the waterway. That's worth the 30 bucks.

Great design, lots of water, but 3 temporary Greens
Not a long course, but a shot makers course with water on almost every hole. But three greens were temporary and the rest were a bit hairy (slow). Heard there are new owners putting money into the course. With some love and care, it could be very good. But for the money, not bad.

Not worth the price
Course was not worth the price. Tee boxes were awful. On most holes, half of the green was unplayable. Fairways had sand everywhere (not bunkers, just sand everywhere). Drinks were non existent as you could not go to the clubhouse at all throughout the round and there was no beverage carts. No coolers meant all the drinks you bought at the clubhouse were warm by hole 5. Would not recommend unless course conditions improve.

Staff is amazing!
Can’t say enough about the ease of play and staff ! Very friendly and accommodating. Busy day here but everyone was helpful and over the top! We will definitely be back!

Great pace
Very limited number of groups on course. Played round in about 3 hours.

Bad condition
Greens in really bad shape , fairways not in best condition. Not worth playing now unless you want cheap and it should be cheaper

Bring plenty of golf balls
Course and club house are nice. It sits right on the Inter Coastal Waterway. Staff very friendly and informative. Greens are beautiful. It’s a true links course. You need to hit the ball straight. And know how far you hit each club. If not you’ll be in the many water hazards or off the fairway in a unfindable lie. Ground is hard, so lots of roll. My first time playing the course. I don’t know if they had a course guide with hazards marked with yardage. If not, this is something that would have been very helpful. One of the holes I think 16 is a very hard dog leg left with two trees in the middle and on the turn around 175 yards out. Luckily two regular gents gave me heads up

A decent experience
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The course layout is quirky, but fun. Some holes are very short and tight and others are long and open. The greens are relatively new and in poor shape overall. Very, very slow and many bare patches. The fairways were in ok condition and the tee boxes were poor. The course does not return to the clubhouse after 9 and there are no refreshment options during the round and no beverage cart, so be ready for that. The best part of the experience was the restaurant after the round. We had some nice meals in there and there is a nice deck with a view. Overall, I wouldn't return except if some friends ask us to join them there. There are better options.

Work in progress
Course in rough shape as new owners work to bring it back. Still worth playing just to experience the first and last holes.
Hope they get it back in better condition so i can enjoy it again.
