About
The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

Suspect conditions
Found this course via Golfpass, we we're able to get a tee time for a twosome on short notice. The cost online was only $30 per person, including cart. This should have given us a hint but the reviews were better than average. The front nine greens were a mess, grass was not growing, the back nine greens were a bit better. Credit the golf course for letting us know about the problem greens before we went out but it's something I'd have rather known before we booked. All in all, the course layout is pretty nice, lots of water and sand. I'd go back to play if they improve the conditions, especially at that price.

Nice enough for the price
Greens not great in patches. Very slow play. Great last hole

Don’t waste your time
Worst course in the area. Non existent tee boxes. Green awful. Fairways bare in 20% of course. I would not play this course if it was free

Brick Landing, A Continuous Improvement
The transformation of Brick Landing continues with much improved greens, fairways, sand traps and drainage. The difference is remarkable from where it was a couple years ago. We’ve played it twice in 2 weeks and will be sure o include it again during our next visit to the area.
The pro shop staff is quite friendly and well stocked and the restaurant is good.

Interesting course
Lots of water. If not a long hitter plan to move up on several holes. 12th can not avoid water if you can't hit 200 in air and straight. Otherwise great course

Needs attention
Advertised practice balls included, but were not. Many greens had bad spots. It is an excellent layout.

Great, challenging course
Loved this course, must hit them straight! 17/18 holes have water, but can be missed. Course could use some better tee markings, other than that no complaints!

First and Last
The course was in terrible condition, from the tee box to the greens. This is the worst course I’ve played in the Myrtle Beach area. Fairways were bare, greens brown and painted. A waste of money.

Coming around
After having been shut down for a few years, this course is coming back to nice shape. Real variety of holes and some spectacular views. No real practice facilities right now but the greens were better then some more expensive courses in the area. Can’t really play summer rules on the fairways but you can tell the staff is trying to put this course on the right track

Needs Help
This course needs lots of help the fairways and the greens are in pretty poor condition the layout of the course is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen there’s a lot of hidden holes and a lot of water I would say unless you love links golf along with a lot of water holes this course is not for the average golfer

Not quite up to the recent reviews
Booked this course after reading some good reviews. The course is not quite up to the level of the reviews. Not bad, just not quite as rosy as the reviews would have you believe. Good value for the fees though. No putting green. Poor driving range. Staff was excellent. Layout a bit tough...target golf.

On its way back
When I was a much younger man, this course was a yearly inclusion in our groups package. It has exactly what you expect in a myrtle beach course. Tons of water, views and signature holes. As our budget got bigger and our drive times shorter, this course was replaced in our rotation. What a treat it was to come back and play again. The course was in better shape then I expected. The driving range was right out of tin cup. But the rest of the course was enjoyable. This may be the best bargain in the strand. I wish the new owners luck in bringing this course all the way back to its glory days.

False sides, fronts and rears.
To many run offs on greens. A good shot 20 feet from pin would end up in the water. It would be ok if the ball went into the ruff or a tight chipping area but no, into a water hazard is ridiculous. Back nine is better than the front.
