Poor conditions .
The most important aspect of any golf course are the greens . The greens were like playing plinko .
Un puttable .
The tees and fairways are also deplorable .
Would never return .
This is a fun course with plenty of challenge from the back tees and fairly easy from the front. Unfortunately, the course conditions are fair, at best. Greens, fairways, bunkers and cart paths are all in need of repair. Carts were okay, but on-cart features like ball/club wash did not work, divot repair bottles hadn't been filled and storage cubbies were still wet from a previous wash or rain. Indicative of a lack of attention, the sign for restroom facilities (#6, #10 & #15) was located on the 16th tee! Nice to have a sign, but not a lot of thought put into that one.
Club staff were very friendly and helpful. Price to play is very reasonable, but expect to find as much ground-under-repair as fairway.
No where to eat!
It's a straight 18 hole with no cart girls or place to get a quick sandwich. Snacks at the clubhouse will leave you broke at $3 a small bag of nuts!
The course itself is ok if you pay less than $35 but not worth more than that.
Green are not in great shape and fairway are filled with grab glass.
It's target golf so your lie is important and on this course it is a challenge to get a good lie.
No halfway house
I've played this course before and for the price. It is a great course to play.
The condition of the course , was good for the time of year and the pace of play was average.
The only drawback on this course is there is no half way house or coming back to the main Clubhouse after 9.
So bring a sandwich or something to eat as you
will be hungry.
I would definitely play this course again.
Fun Course. Challenging Layout
Went to golf Links at Brick Landing on Saturday with my buddy. Staff was super nice and pleasant and course was a great deal. The course has a very fun cool layout but is very challenging. Bring enough golf balls.. there is water on almost every hole. Was a good challenge, definitely will be back to try to redeem my poor play from the first round.
Quiet Day
Bang for buck excellent. Course is in very rough shape though. Greens very bumpy fairways poor. But it is scenic and very friendly staff.
Awesome course but challenging
Had a great time, the front 9 is gorgeous but be ready to lose some golf balls cause there’s tons of water
Something it's not
It may be a member's course but not for me. No practice green. One guy said 18 green was open. Another guy kicked me off. No chipping area BUT, they do have a crummy driving range. Greens were not cut. No, would not go back.
.
Ladies day
We had a great time. First time playing this course, but would definitely come back. The staff was very friendly. We loved the course! Thank you!😊🏌🏻♀️
The Links at Brick Landing
Very nice course, they have put in the effort and it shows. New sod is taking nicely on the greens. I went out as a single, paired up with another golfer and we finished our round in under 4 hours.
Definitely will play again.
GREAT LAYOUT - GOOD CHALLENGE
First time playing here and really enjoyed the diversity of the holes and the entire layout. This is fun but challenging course!
EXCELLENT CHALLENGE and GREAT LAYOUT
First time playing this course and I had a FANTASTIC time! I have played over 35 of the courses in the Myrtle Beach area and I put this course in the top 5 most challenging! The layout is very interesting, many different shots are required, the course was in very good condition and the staff was totally welcoming. I will be back next time in the area and hopefully will play better now that I have an idea of each hole's unique requirements.
Narrow course
I found the course to be a strong test. A lot of tight tee shots with water or OB in play. With winter conditions and dormant rough if you missed the fairway you could easily roll into trouble. I hit more fairway woods than driver. Greens putted fairly. If you don't hit the ball solidly this course will be hard for you.
Sunset
Every month when we arrive in the Sunset / Ocean Isle Beach area I immediately book my round at Brick Landind! Great staff, Great Course and Very efficient fast pace of Play! See U next month!
Awesome value for a challenging round
Beautiful intracoastal views! Target golf that is good for experienced low handicappers, but tough for a 90’s golfer. Great value and friendly staff. Beware #1 handicap #18. Small landing area off the tee nearly 200 yards on the golds over water. Then hit it over another pond! Yikes. I played with my 80 year old father and as we loaded our clubs back into the cart he said “that was challenging”. I said which part dad? “The whole dang thing”. lol
