About
River Ridge Golf Club is one of the finest public golf courses in Raleigh. The course sprawls across 100 acres in the heart of the Triangle, it's an easy 15-minute drive from downtown Raleigh. The lush green of the course contrasts beautifully with the Carolina blue skies. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are a few lakes that come into play. The rolling terrain provides plenty of ups and downs throughout the golf course. Accuracy will be generously rewarded but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course's signature hole is the par-4 fifth, a 375-yard hole that can be conquered with smart play. Try to keep your long iron or fairway wood to the right of the fairway, which will give you a short iron approach into the green.

a GREAT PLACE TO PLAY AND HAVE FUN

Course has great layout.
I enjoy the variety of holes. Use all my clubs. Greens are fast but manageable.

My friend was 1 hours late for the tee time. The course allowed us to delay our tee time twice, so we were able to enjoy the game together. Really appreciated.

River Ridge Golf Course
The staff are always friendly at this course. I love the layout and the condition is in good shape even though I am sure like other business are having a hard time staffing. I do think they could use a ranger to try to speed up pace of play. They also need to keep the starter to keep people from cutting in front of players making the turn. I will be back because like I said at the start I love the layout and the staff are great!

Tough but fair
Greens super fast, course a bit damp. Miss the fairway and pay big. Shot makers course for sure. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will come back when my game is ready.
