About
River Ridge Golf Club is one of the finest public golf courses in Raleigh. The course sprawls across 100 acres in the heart of the Triangle, it's an easy 15-minute drive from downtown Raleigh. The lush green of the course contrasts beautifully with the Carolina blue skies. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are a few lakes that come into play. The rolling terrain provides plenty of ups and downs throughout the golf course. Accuracy will be generously rewarded but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course's signature hole is the par-4 fifth, a 375-yard hole that can be conquered with smart play. Try to keep your long iron or fairway wood to the right of the fairway, which will give you a short iron approach into the green.

One of my favorites in the area. Always in good condition from tee to green. Balanced variety of holes and organized staff.

Back Nine
Started on the Back Nine and it never disappoints—Greens rolled Great!! Fairways had no leaves so kudos to the staff !! Front nine started w/a birdie & again greens were rolling great !!Great job Y’ALL!!

One of my new favorites
Very pleasantly surprised by the course. First time we’ve played it and we all loved it. Greens were VERY fast, but the rest of the course played great.

Course in great shape
Had a great time playing today. Course was great shape. Greens were fast but would hold. Great pace. If you can get a hot deal its definitely worth it!

One of my favorites
RR is consistently in excellent condition. People are cool. Layout is fun. Greens are undulating and quick. You have to hit golf shots. They give you some balls to warm up with and have free cold water bottles at the 1/10/18 turn/clubhouse. If I lived a little closer I might join. Still play here once a month and these folks consistently do really well at almost everything. If this course and it's staff were a player they'd be a single digit hdcp. Seriously
Great course, fast greens
Challenging course in great shape with fast greens. End up on the wrong side of the hole and you’ll struggle to 2 putt.
