Guys at the front desk are very friendly. Pace of play in the afternoon is fantastic. Frequently play in under 3 hours. Course is in good shape. Some challenging holes, some easy to score on. Good balance for a ~10 capper.

This course was fun. Heard alot of hype so checked it out and it did not disappoint. Biggest issue for me was out of the courses control which was distance to course and playing partners. Practice areas were perfect with chipping putting and a full-ish range. Full ish means that a drive will go out of sight so the distance is immeasurable. However the fact that they give you a small bag of ball to hit ahead of your round BRAVO! To me that puts it over the edge and into another planet of it's own. The starter actually gave a **** about what was going on and was helpful. I almost played solo but because I was new I the course and keep a handicap I chose to be paired. Course offered great options to use just about your whole bag. I only carry 12 (no woods) but I used everything except my 51. They had forced carries, wide open let it rips, and cool downhill shots onto a small patch. The white tees are kind of short. It is white but IMHO we midcaps don't need THAT much help. Perhaps it did make the round more enjoyable because it was easy to score well. Bunkers were a little so so. We haven't had any rain so they were packed down and nearly non-existent which meant you're basically playing off of an odd lie rather than out of true sand if that makes sense. Tee boxes were in great shape and the course is very aesthetically appealing. Carts and path were in great shape even though the carts cup holders are too small (a minor pet peeve).

This is by far the best course in Raleigh. It’s tough, it allows you to use every club in your bag. The staff is amazing. The greens are fast and clean. The fairways are amazing. 10/10 I love it here

We played it on a Saturday morning, when it was the member guest. There was a snafu on the first tee with the regulars who claim they had teetimes. But they really don’t have teetimes, and the pro shop did nothing about it. How about investing in a starter? Simply ridiculous. Once we did get out on the course it was in great shape. The greens were very fast and the pins were in difficult conditions but I think that’s due to they were member guest being that day. I like the layout and the difficulty of the greens. There was not a cart person out on the course nor did we see any Rangers etc. we were done in about 4 1/2 hours. They had no unsweetened iced tea at snack shop. Don’t hit the ball above the pin because some of the greens really have severe slopes.

Awful pace of play. Late Sunday afternoon / early evening round. Waited 10-15 minutes at each tee box.

Good course, got paired up with a threesome, we had an enjoyable experience. Weather was very hot and steamy, course was in good shape.

The course is in very food condition, pace of play resulted in very little waiting.

Played on a hot day in August 2021 while visiting from out of the state. Course was in great condition and starter Robert was very friendly and helpful. Greens rolled true. Fine course and I will play it again if I am back in the area
