About
River Ridge Golf Club is one of the finest public golf courses in Raleigh. The course sprawls across 100 acres in the heart of the Triangle, it's an easy 15-minute drive from downtown Raleigh. The lush green of the course contrasts beautifully with the Carolina blue skies. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are a few lakes that come into play. The rolling terrain provides plenty of ups and downs throughout the golf course. Accuracy will be generously rewarded but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course's signature hole is the par-4 fifth, a 375-yard hole that can be conquered with smart play. Try to keep your long iron or fairway wood to the right of the fairway, which will give you a short iron approach into the green.

Great Course
New to Raleigh, have purposely played many of the different courses. This was by far the pretties course and one of the most challenging.
Course condition was very good, again better than the others in the area I played.
Great Course
First time playing here. Everything about the round was great. Very fast greens kinda of caught me off guard, you have to think through each shot. Coming from the coast, the elevation changes were very fun to negotiate.

Great layout!
The layout of the course is great! Conditions are on par with this time of year. Fairways and greens coming in nicely. The conditions of the fairway and green side bunkers need some work. I am sure it’s do to the short staffing most golf courses are experiencing. Otherwise a great experience and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back to play again this season!

Perfect challenge
Me and my dad went. It was great course. Provided us both with a challenge, but not to the point it made playing unfun. They paced out the players nicely so nobody was right on anyones tail. Ranger was extremely friendly. Very helpful friendly staff. All around a great course for some friendly competition. Also some stunning views, lots of wildlife.

Very nice course
The fairways are still brown but have a lot of grass to hit off of. The greens had sand placed on them recently but putted very true and fast. We enjoyed the layout and will be back.

The PGA so called Professional sat in his office tearing down on a bag of chips idlely staring at his computer screen while the part-time associate fumbled with the check-in computer as the check-in line of paying customers grew. Poor excuse for representation.
