BEST IN THE WEST
Nice old municipal course but with the best greens within 50 miles 🤸
Getting better and better
River Bend is a great local course. The layout is interesting enough. The greens are the best around. And the course is in really good shape for this early in the summer season. The price you pay for the quality you get is outstanding. You won’t find better greens anywhere. Book a round here. You won’t be disappointed
Driving range
I like this course. It's out in the middle of nowhere. It has a decent layout with excellent greens. The practice green is great, and one is allowed to chip there. The only fault I find is that the driving range limits shots to 200 yards. So. . . I didn't get to warm-up some important clubs. Those clubs were so cold they didn't know how to play golf that day.
Just awesome
I’m up visiting from Orlando fl. Just by great luck I booked us a tee time. I run a fabulous course in Orlando that’s why I went into the pro shop after our round and told all Coudoos to the superintendent. Wow. Yes. I’ll be back.
Very enjoyable golf course
We really like the layout and the condition of this golf course. Greens in great shape, some room around them to have a chip them close, if you can:). The fairways were maybe as good as we have seen them in the past but very much playable. We will go back even we have to drive over an hour to get there.
The greens!!
The greens are some of the best around they are large and fast. Fun course to play with some blind shots. Very well maintained too.

Challenging course when played from the appropriate tees.
Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand in sand traps was minimal. Greens rolled true, were medium speed. did not hold the approach shot well.

Great Course For Value
Played here a few times. Layout is fairly fun, with only 2 “gimmick” holes which are 8 and 17. Greens are fantastic and the grass is starting to come in on the fairways. They continue to work and clean up the course. Great course for the cost. Always has been a go-to when my home course is booked or working on the greens. Definitely will continue to play here! Also have had great experiences with both fellow players and staff. Pace of play can be an issue at times but not on this trip. Only slowed down towards the last few holes.
Good value for the money
Great value for the price, the course is a little crowded a couple holes are right on top of each other. The is a lot of water to carry so it’s challenging in that aspect. Greens are very well maintained and firm as fast. There are no ball washing stations on any hole and driving range is irons only.

Great local course
Riverbend is a great local course. You will be hard pressed to find a more friendly staff. And they have some of the best greens anywhere. I’ve played a few big name courses and I’m telling you their greens are as good as those courses, especially now that the weather has warmed some. The fairways, rough, and tees are just starting to get some green in them. The layout is fun without killing the average golfer. We had about a 4.5 hour round. Which you should expect on weekends. All in all a great round. And you will be very happy with what you get for the price.
