River Bend YMCA Golf Course

Second time playing this course in the last two months and I found it to be in even better condition that it was in the first time. For sure a must play. Just wish they’d consider getting an ice machine so that you could keep your drinks cold. As hat as it was had I not had lots of cold water it could have been challenging.

The course conditions were pristine! Love the layout and the staff was very friendly. The only real knock was that tee times were only separated by 5 minutes and the round took 5 hours on a Friday afternoon.

All around the course was in great shape. The only issue my card had was the pace of play. it took over 5 hours to play 18 holes as a 2some. Due to the cards in front not letting people play through. or the course over booked tee times. or didn't space them out enough. Definitely could use a ranger. All around would definitely recommend to play here. great layout and almost presten course

Overall great course fairly short pass of play 3 and one half hrs

Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps were hard packed. Greens did not hold the approach shot, rolled true, were medium fast. Course has recovered from the tree removal completed earlier.

The staff always treats my group extremely well. The Jamz golf group of charlotte have fell in love with this course since the first time we played. The staff has always treated us well and either gives us a discount off the Rack Rate or a bag of range balls per man. We usually play on Saturday and need 8 to 10 tee times, they have always accommodated the group with early tee times when we request them. The course is well maintained every time we've played. Wish the clubhouse was bigger to accommodate our large group when we settle up at the end. All in all, it's great to play a course that knows how to treat it's golfers. It is worth going out of our way to play. We usually play this course 3 to 4 times a year.

River Bend has always been in great shape. When they are cutting trees to clear out things, they make sure it does not interfere with play. The staff are always willing to help

Been playing here for several years as it’s close by the house. The greens have been really good since they redid them a few years ago. But the rest of the course was just average conditions. This summer the course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. They have cut down a lot of trees to allow for sunlight. And as a result. Tees and fairways are as good as the the greens. And even the rough was more than dirt rocks and roots. All in all a great value for the prices they are asking.

In spite of the hot temperatures still had a wonderful round at a wonderful course. Truly enjoyed. Keep doing what you are doing. Until next time,

Course is one of the best around, Deerbrook has a better layout. We were the fourth group off and it took five hours due to the second group off playing Captain's Choice and acted like they were the only group out on the course. The drove up to the tee boxes and right beside each green. We had three groups on every hole on the backside. We did see the Ranger once...he just rode past without saying a word to them.

Course was in outstanding shape. The best I've ever seen it. You won't play better greens anywhere!
