Good condition
Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps were hard packed. Greens rolled smoothly, did not hold the approach shot, and each green rolled at a different speed. Construction work is almost complete.
One of NC Finest Public courses!
Riverbend is in great shape and seems to be undergoing some new changes that will make it even better!
The staff is friendly and polite!
Can’t wait to play it again!

Conditions
Greens are always SUPERB but fairways are alot to be desired😭
Great Course
They are currently working heavily on the course affecting at least two holes. The first time I played #8 hole was closed, now it's open, but only as a par 3!
The course is very good overall. The greens play extremely fast and it is difficult to hold the greens on several of the holes, but that goes to course difficulty.
I found it very pleasant to play and has some great views.
I highly recommend it!
Course is starting to recover from winter
Fairways and roughs starting to green up. Sand trap sand is minimally deep. Greens held the approach shot, rolled true, medium speed. Several holes were shortened due to crews removing trees and roots with heavy equipment.
Riverbend
There was a long back uo on the first tee, but after we got moving the pace of play was good. Greens were in great shape, and when the grass grows in this spring fairways will be nice as well. A good layout playable for all skill levels. Definately worth the trip.
