Reviews
Greens are shot
Greens are just covered with sand. Would be a great course to score well on with a decent layout(a lot of bunkers). Unfortunately it seems like they haven’t swept or attempted to get sand of greens in years. Def not a course to practice any kind of putting on. For a 40$ rate which is on the low end it is a course I’d play on a weekday solo but wouldn’t take company to.
Great time. Hidden gem.
Lovely course, challenging, set among a lake and NC pines. Really should try. Great value as well. Nice staff
CCJC
Fun course and great deal for the money. It was surprisingly challenging. Some Long Par 3's.
played 9th and 10th of November course in great shape.greens were smooth fairways were in great shape. course in better shape than most of courses in and around Pinehurst nc would highly recommend playing this course.
Accommodating staff, challenging layout
Brought a group of 12 up from the Pinehurst area to play 36 holes at CCJC last weekend. Our group hadn’t played the course in about a year and we were really impressed with the improved course conditions since our last visit. Greens rolled smoothly and fast. Definitely want to bring your A game off the tee. Staff was great and accommodating to our groups needs. Had a great lunch in between rounds and were still able to finish before dark. Can’t beat it for the price!
Great experience from start to finish
Chris was great. They were busy and rather than make us wait they sent us off 10 so we would not be held up. Greens were smooth and putted great. Fairways and t boxes in great shape
Fair at best
-Course offers little challenge
-Layout is bland with the exception of two decent holes on the back 9
-Course condition was just okay. Greens were soft, traps need serious work, fairways were decent
-This course isn’t worth more than $15 a round. No nicer than reedy creek
-If you want to spend $30+ go to Keith Hills
Fun Course to Play
It was a great value. My kids and I drove over an hour to check this course out and we had a blast. The greens were perfect speed--I made almost every putt which is rare for me. You can use driver and the fairways require both fades and draws which is nice. I would definitely play the course again. Thank you for a great time guys!!
I played this course several times , and this is a great course, interesting but needs a litlle maintenace here and there but still a great course.
Only down side, this is obvious a course for members who do not want to play with not members and nor do they let fast players through even slow 4 balls has no intention to let 1 or 2 fast players pass.
Give it a shot
Very nice layout. Love the old-school design. Enjoyed playing with the person we ended up hooking up with. The staff is very good and friendly. Would highly recommend playing there
Great course for the money
Overal liked the layout and greens were in good shape rolling true. A little beat up around some fairway parts but it's not very expensive to play so would recommend it
Not so nice of a course.
Greens were in very bad shape. Lots of bare spots. Rough in terrible shape with a lot of ruts. Not worth the 33 dollar price. More on par with an 18 dollar course.
Hello. Im sorry you didn't find the greens up to par at CCJC when you visited. Unfortunately, when you played the course, we had top-dressed the greens. I would encourage others reading to read other recent reviews that give a different indication of course play and the greens. Also, we would like to invite you back out to play again when the greens are not top-dressed. Contact us at the club in regards to this. -Thanks, Chris (GM)
