Course is in good condition not great, fairways in good shape as are tee boxes. Greens are good, a few had some bad spots on back 9, but overall ball rolled fine. The layout of the course is the feature attraction here offering some elevation changes and an even blend of dogleg right/left holes. Traditional old style course where accuracy and shot placement rule and bomb and gouge gets penalized. Fun course to play and worth the $34 w/ Golfnow

I played the course because it had 4 star rating. Not even close. Patchy green, patchy rough. 2 1/2 star rating at best.

Had a threesome, paired up with a member who was able to give us advice on how the holes were laid out as none of us had played here before. Friendly staff, good food in the clubhouse, tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in pretty good condition except for Hole 12. I will definitely return to play this course again, although not for at least a month as they instructed us they would be aerating the greens on June 22.

This is a very nice country club set up. The course looks like it's been in operation for 40 years or more. Has lots of mature trees and narrow fairways. It is not terribly long from the white tees and greens are in good condition. Some pin positions can be quite difficult. The staff was very nice. The starter was very nice. And of course was in excellent shape. This style of course fits my game as I am an older golfer, I put a premium on accuracy over distance.

Really enjoy this course but the Coke machine at the turn was empty and there were no water stations.

Course was nice and staff was very friendly. Only disappointment was they charged full price for kids. I play in Charlotte and most courses kids are free until they are 16. I would play this course again.

I can't wait to come back and play again once it greens up.

Cant just pull the driver everytime off the tee. Very challenging greens...

Great layout, greens are very good and pretty fast. Pace of play is always good.

Very fast greens, some bare sandy areas but overall a fun course

This is one of those courses you have to play in the area. It's a ton of fun to play. It's just open enough and just tight enough to make it a good challenge. The greens have always been in great shape when I've been there. They were towards the slower end that I've seen them, but still broke a lot.

Old course. Modern grass. Best of both worlds. Generous fairways, greens require acurate irons

Excellent value. Very challeging from blue tees, with several par 3s in 215 or longer range. Very good greens with challenging slopes

We are from Raleigh and the condition of the courses are a bit above but we had fun and a good time. Everybody we encountered was vary helpful and golf friendly.

Course was in excellent condition. Some fairways are very narrow in spots. Premiums awarded for distance and accuracy (especially on numerous doglegs). You'll enjoy the course, however the staff and members could be friendlier and more inviting … in my opinion.

This is a really nice course, we'll maintain, nice putting green. And a driving range close by. Excellent pace of play. If you are a slicer like me bring a extra box of balls enjoy. It's wroth the money.

lost 7.47 on line fee,10.18am tee time,it looked like the over booked.After paying my tee fee,had to ask for a refund.At 10.18 there were 9 carts in front of me.Very disappointed.

This course offers some difficult driving holes and challenging Bermuda greens. Overall a fun course and would play it again.

Beautiful Course. Fairways and greens pristine! The course was in amazing shape, and there was only one 2-some in front of us. We were there on a Sunday with a 10:41 tee time. I would play there again in a heartbeat!!

Not a very pretty course. I assume they don't have enough revenue to keep the course looking good?
Greens are nice, but gravel in the traps, wet most any time you go around fairways and in some fairways. Took a swamp and tried to build a golf course in it? Proshop?...register to play in snack bar?
