Jones at Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center

getting to the course, if you've never been there? street directions not very good, signs on streets needed. got to course still not very evident you're in right spot. gps doesn't know either. played very slow pace, can't get in rhythm. too much time, no ranger.

There was a group playing a scramble in front and played so slowly that I had to replay the front nine to be able to finish by dark. The staff would not let me play one of the other nine (there are two courses at the site), so I had to replay the same nine I had just played. The cart staff was very friendly but the pro shop staff was indifferent, very terse and not very friendly. Condition of the course was just fair. Fairways not well grown in and greens had many little sand bumps possibly made by ants or some other small burrowing animal. Average at best.

First played Rees Jones course about 12 years ago and enjoyed it and the conditions very much. In subsequent years course conditions and facilities declined considerable. During the past few years conditions of the course improved dramatically and greens, fairways, and bunkers are in very good shape. Pro shop has been adequately restocked and cart paths have all been replaced. All these changes made for a very pleasurable golf experience.

They advertise bent grass greens but they sure look like Bermuda to me. The overall course condition was good and the staff was friendly, but the greens were very slow and inconsistent.

After playing Diamondback the day before, this was a VERY welcome change! This course was in good condition, had a great layout, was routed through a nice development, had wildlife and was well maintained. Due to rains it was pretty wet in some of the fairways and the greens were a bit shaggy (and slow) because they couldn't cut them but all in all we have nothing but good things to say!

I booked on golfnow. I then read reviews. I was nervous about playing here based on the reviews. Granted the reviews were from 2013. I really enjoyed the course and layout. Some real nice holes and forgiving fairways which worked out well for one of my first rounds of the season. The greens needed to be cut for they were long. They did roll nicely though. I assure you that the past less than favorable reviews have been addressed. I had a nice golf experience. There are so many courses to play in the area so I try to play a different one from time to time. I think it's a $40 course.

Everyone in our group enjoyed the course. For this time of year the whole course was in good shape and had very nice greens. Unlike some of the newer courses in the area, the greens were makeable from the tees if you made decent shots. The pace of play was also excellent, due to the course marshaling.

The course was in excellent condition. Tee boxes, fairways,greens and sand traps could not be in any better shape. It was a wonderful course to play and I highly recommend to all when in the area.

Good layout. Course was in decent shape for mid April, only negative was greens seemed a bit firm for this time of year, tho they did still hold a good shot.

Sea Trail (Jones) is an excellent course. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. We wanted to play as a twosome; however, the course had prepared to pair us with another group, but per request they happily made it happen for us to enjoy the course as a twosome. The entire course was in excellent condition.

My husband and I played this course with another couple. The course offers a good distance advantage for women on many holes while still being challenging for the man. The course was in excellent shape for early April. Fairways were green and the greens were in good shape but rolled a little slow. There is a nice variety on the course with strategically placed water and sand traps and a good mix of straight and dog leg holes. I highly recommend this course.

Course was overseeded so hitting off fairways very good. Greens were somewhat slow. Layout was very nice and good for both men and women that played.

We played after noon so got very good deal that made the value better. Not sure it is worth morning price of 91.00$.

We would certainly play here again.
