Great Condition
Come play this eastern NC gym, best shape it’s been in over the last 5 years. Great track!
Fun course to play!
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled great. Met up with 3 guys I’d never met before. My only complaint as a senior player, many holes were cart path only, which wasn’t necessary as the course was very dry.

Nice course, wide open fairways and acceptable greens. Will play this course again.
Unfair Review
I say unfair because this course has been pummeled with rain and they have done a great job managing the soaked conditions.
However.....a major pet peeve of mine is paying full price for carts and then being 100% cart path only and/or the course not telling you it's cart path only until you are on the course. When you are cart path only the pace of play is going to slow down but because the course is not that large left to right, the impact is not as drastic.
Greens were slow but the amount of rain will do it.
Would I play here again...maybe. would I make a point to drive the hour to play again, possibly not.

Had a great time but the rain came and rained us out. Got a rain check so I will play again soon.
Challenges
Love how this course can challenge me every time I play it. Trying new clubs or let’s face it, I’m a 20 handicap that goes out and shoots 90-95 and had fun with friends!
Great Local Course
I really enjoyed playing at Keith Hills. It's definitely a challenging course for me (an amateur), but it is just the right amount of challenging to make it very fun. The staff was very accommodating, and overall I had a fun time at this course.
Great Layout
KH is in very good condition. The greens were a little spongy from all the rain we've had, and too many unrepaired ball marks. Rough is very penal. Could use more sand in the bunkers or at least groom them.....at most there is 1/2 an inch of loose sand then quickly becomes hard pan. Great layout....Black and Orange 9's are the best.
