Great Layout
KH is in very good condition. The greens were a little spongy from all the rain we've had, and too many unrepaired ball marks. Rough is very penal. Could use more sand in the bunkers or at least groom them.....at most there is 1/2 an inch of loose sand then quickly becomes hard pan. Great layout....Black and Orange 9's are the best.
Keith Hills
My 3rd time at the course and my son-in-law’s 1st time. The fairways were immaculate and the tee boxes were in pretty good shape as well. Greens were bumpy due to recent aeration, but not bad. The chicken salad sandwich, which was fresh made was delicious. I’ll be back soon.
Pace of play
Teed off at 857 am and it was slow the entire time. We were a foursome and waited every shot.
Great course for the money
2 of the 3 9 holes are very walkable. The third is a bit of a hike.
Bugs & Bad Attitude
Just too many bugs. And the one element that could’ve improved the round was the face to face interactions with staff. And to call them unpleasant would be kind. Just a negative experience, overall. My first and last trip to Keith Hills.
Pace of play
Range was closed on a Saturday morning until 1:00pm which was super unfortunate. The pace of play was the worst I've seen at KH which is usually manageable. Greens were in okay shape and so we the fairways - definitely made it tougher with cart path only on a bunch of holes.
Will still be back just hoping for more enforcement on pace of play.
Awesome to have as a home course
I live 12 minutes down the road and I couldn’t be happier to have Keith Hills as my local course. Course is always in great condition no matter the time of year. I have played on the hottest of days in the summer and the coldest of days on the winter. Course always looks great and plays great.
Great Collegiate course
I was unaware that this was the home course for Campbell when booking. I have played a few of the larger school’s courses in the area and this matched up well from a challenge perspective. I would play again, but was a little disappointed in the lack of food/beverage availability when I played. The onsite restaurant had limited hours and there did not seem to be beverage availability in the clubhouse.
(Black/Orange) Great course, average difficulty
Start off by saying the course was in great condition, tee boxes were pure and well maintained, greens were rolling well. The driving range was rained out so didn’t get to use it, but was able to chip and putt on their large putting green. The course isn’t too difficult, yet not “easy”. Most of the holes are hard to pull driver out because you’ll fly through to the woods as most of the holes are doglegs. Group ahead of me was not the quickest, older group who struggled to get the ball down the fairway so it’s probably not a common occurrence. Regardless, inexpensive course, can’t say it’s perfect.
Excellent value
Able to book online. Staff is friendly, and a nice golf course layout.
