Challenging
One of 3 mines and probably the toughest.
Very fast Bermuda greens. Fairways and fringes are coming along with warmer weather. Variety of holes makes this nine a real challenge. No 2 is a true uphill par 5 that requires three good shot to save par. No 9 will test even the low handicaps.
Love this track!
Challenging but fair, excellent conditions. Lots of players out but a good steady pace. Big greens, fast and flawless!
Super nice greens
All good, except guy in pro shop would not allow a replay on the third nine that we had not played, even though it was the normal rotation and tee was open.
White
The played whites twice does only can give eval of 1 nine hole. Greens were the best I have played this year in Florida. Fairways were softness I played in Florida this year. Lots of workers on course and nice to see outstanding practice facilities being used. A must when playing in the area!
Still a steal!
Greens were great considering the time of year & the fairways were sparse & brown, as expected. (Can’t wait for the warm weather & the greening of the course.)
We play from the tips and it’s a challenge but fair. We love KH’s and don’t mind the hour drive from Raleigh for the bang for buck ratio.
Fine
Fun little old school course(small greens, tightish fairways, plenty of doglegs). Green weren’t as great as several reviews said, plenty bumpy and inconsistent. Pace of play was ok, until I made the turn, I don’t know if they sent another group out or the group in front of us took their sweet time in the snack shop. Overall it was a fine experience considering the hotdeal price.
Fantastic Greens!!!
I was thrilled to putt on greens this good - speed was consistent and the rolls was great. And it is only Mid-March. Get out and play here while the greens are in this good of shape. Kudos to the greens keeper and grounds crew!!!!
Slow pace
Bunched up afternoon tee times took me from 12:40 until 5:30 to finish up while keeping up pace with a group ahead. Grounds we're a little wet a few days after rain but only paid $25 for the round. Can't be too disappointed. Still had a good time.
Great time, a little slow
There was a tournament ahead of us which the players were walking. Out round lasted 4.5 hours which is just a little slow. Weather was perfect and the course was in good condition. Challenging pin placements during the day. For $29 on a weekend with perfect weather, I do not have much to complain about.
I play here often and will continue to do so.
super slow pace
course itself was in decent shape for the time
of year, however they drastically overbooked the course. it took nearly 4 hours to complete nine holes and i did not even finish my round. complete waste of money and time
Great course well maintained.
Loved the course, great shape for December. Awesome greens, not a blemish.
Excellent Condition
Course was in great condition....tee through green.
Bermuda greens weren't overly fast but got your attention and rolled very true.
Rough was only about 3" deep but very dense. (I switched to yellow balls because white balls were difficult to find in the rough).
Just a great traditional layout....well worth the drive from Raleigh.
