Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club

Course was not in best shape. Fairways had a lot of crabgrass. Greens didn’t look good but they pitted very true. Bunkers were in good condition. Would play here again but wouldn’t pay more than $25 to play it.

The geography of this course would lend it to be a very beautiful track, but the ever present signs of neglect ruined a good day.

Well kept fairways with no "bald spot". The roughs are of normal height. The greens are in good condition and a little bit on faster side. A couple of bunkers have some water from recent rain as typical in other mid priced courses . Great riding from a fleet of 2 month old electric cart.

This course will close soon. Maintenance guy told me they only have 3 man crew. Equipment broke down

This used to be one of our favorite courses. Last couple of time playing have not been fun. Grass growing in bunkers, greens spotty and fairways more weeds than grass.

I played this course 18 or 19 years ago it's sad that the shape of the course has gone down to this. Bunkers had 3 ft. of water in them. The Bermuda ruff was a foot tall in places. Could be a nice course again with a grounds crew

clearly a lack of $ and upkeep impacted this decent layout. Greens were terribly slow and bare in spots, tee boxes mostly bare & the course doesn't get watered anywhere close to what's needed - and there was no ranger to tell a group of guys to pick up the pace. (they seemed more interested in drinking beers at 11am, making lots of noise and then playing as a 6-8some the last 3-4 holes?)

the only thing that made it decent was the $19 GN hot deal - would not have been worth $25 unless you were desperate and a beginner

The greens and fairways were in terrible condition. There was no fairway to rough cut line. It was all intermediate height grass. There were dead grass patches throughout the 18 holes. The clubhouse was acceptable but old. I won't go back.

This was by far the worse maintained course I've ever played in SC. You could not tell the difference between fairway and rough grass. Weeds growing through the sand is a sure sign of a course that isn't maintained! Unless the owner spends money for some drastic updates and maintenance, this course should be closed.

Poor fairways, not mowed.. Grasses growing in the fairway. Greens were extremely rough!

The course was well worth the money. The hot deal made it even better. The only issue was that the greens were in poor shape. This may have been due to maintenance.

Great time. Got to hit some balls. I'll definitely play the course again.
