Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Awesome track!

Was in the Carolinas visiting a friend for a long weekend of golf. Based purely on reviews, my friend booked us here for the last day. Drove a little more than an hour to get there. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. When you pull in to the parking lot, the clubhouse doesn't look like much, so we were looking at each other thinking "hope this was worth it."

It was.

Hit some balls on the range and then headed to the first tee. As soon as we got there, we knew we had hit gold. Phenomenal layout with great views and dramatic changes in elevation. Plenty of elevated tee shots to go around. Conditions were excellent, including diamond zoysia greens that were completely true. Not many straight puts, but that was part of the fun of it. Some blind shots, as well as plenty of holes where you really had to think and strategize what the best approach was to your plan of attack. Best compliment I can give is that I can't wait to get back there. Will absolutely make it a staple of every visit I make to the area. Well worth the drive!

Could not be more impressed with condition of this course and all the amenities. The course was in perfect condition, I could see the changes they made to help with draining and improvements to bad areas all throughout the course. The bunkers had nice sand in them and greens roll true. The carts are new and enjoyable to drive. My biggest applause comes from the CARTPATHS being re-paved! WOW, great job Superintendent and staff at Eagle Chase!! Best value in the Charlotte area!
