About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Great character and greens
I have been playing at Eagle Chase since 2006. Surrounded by woodlands and farms, (no houses or backyards) the only sounds you hear are golf balls being struck!
The elevation changes make it pleasing look at and fun to play.
And the greens are the best in the Charlotte area.
One of my favorite courses
Course is very well kept and always exceeds my expectations. Love coming out to Eagle Chase, lots of fun and challenging holes. 100% worth the drive to Marshville.

Great Golf Course
I loved this golf course. It is sufficiently challengeing. My only regret was that 5 people were playing ahead of my partner and I and that was too odd, and extemely frustrating. I lost my concentration after the first 3 holes and the next 5 holes my mind was completely disturbed. This was the worst I have ever seen. A course ranger might have helped but the course has none.

Good but tough
Nice course but somewhat too complicated for my skills - lot of hills - maybe the hot and muggy weather impacted the feelings

Worth the long drive
I’m going to start this review from the clubhouse to the course.
Staff was very friendly. The clubhouse is tiny. The driving range was close to the clubhouse and was fantastic. The balls were new and the turf was great.
This is a challenging course that requires good judgment and shot control. The elevation changes were not expected and no two holes are alike. I loved the layout. High praise to the superintendent. The overall condition was great.
We played in 3 hr 55 minutes on a Friday. Not great, but I’ll take it every time given I’ve suffered through countless 5+ hour rounds. I highly recommend this course.

Really Great
Have to give it 5 stars The one thing holding it back for so long was the cart paths and they are mostly redone and in the process of fixing the rest. They redid some bunkers and there is really not much you can say bad about the course. Friendly staff Nice greens (although rolled slow the last two times I played it ) Elevation / views and fun holes. New carts are nice as well. Worth the drive.

Great course!!
I enjoyed my round and had a wonderful with my fellow golfers. Only issue was a ground crew worker cutting the grass who ignored us when we were about to tee off on Hole #8. He continued cutting in front of us close to the tee box and shot dirt and dust towards us like we weren’t even there. He made eye to eye contact with us almost every time he passed and continued cutting. Other than that incident, everything else was wonderful.

greens were so slow they were unplayable
Course in great shape other than the greens. It felt like putting on long carpet. the slowest longest greens I have ever played. Was really disappointed because of it. Felt like good putts and chips would turn out so short and shots you absolutely blasted way to hard ended up good. Just felt like the green rewarded bad shots in place of good ones because the greens were so slow. Balls would literally stop on down hill slopes when rolling down hill.
