About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Eagle Chase worth it
A bit out there, but worth the drive! Lots of elevation changes & undulations on greens, but completely playable and fair. Course isn’t long, but challenging. Greens & fairways were in phenomenal shape! This is now firmly in our rotation of local courses. Big fan

beautiful course
Course was in great shape! A mountainous course without the mountains. As my playing partner said that had played the course a few times in the past.(He shot an 86 the day we played.) "This course is brutal" but it is also fun.

Great course for the fees paid. Just too difficult for a golfer that hasn’t played much in recent years. Greens were okay excellent and staff was was competent and friendly. About the only negative we’re the many flies in some spots

I read a lot about the course online and a lot of people gave it a great review.
I have to say that the pace of play was very slow and the STINK from a neighboring field being fertilized was unbearable. Actually the flies are the worst of it. Everywhere you stopped you had hundreds of them landing on you.
Now, i understand that this is once a year but it ruined our day.

Great Value
As usual Eagle Chase did not disappoint. The course is in excellent condition from tee boxes through greens. The back nine features several very challenging holes on particular but the entire track can test various parts of your game and abilities throughout. I find the white markers at 6000 yards perfect for my current efforts. It would be nice to see a ranger a bit more but that is really nitpicking given all that is present here.

Excellent Course - Worth the drive to get to it.
I've played this course several times. It's a gorgeous course that surprisingly feels like you are playing a course in the mountains. The hole layouts are beautiful and the course is in great shape. This is a difficult course requiring the ability to accurately shape your shots off the tee and often hit approach shots off of lies that are anything but flat. Great bunkers and several holes bring water strategically into play. Love this course... but it's not for someone looking to stroke their ego with a low score.

Awesome course!
Challenging changes in elevation, distinct fairways, greens a tad bit on the bumpy side but for the most part still in very good shape. Overall great course with challenging holes and great water features.

Greens need to recover
Greens were punched last week. Still need time to recover, were slow and bumpy. Good layout except for a couple of holes. Fairways still thin of grass. Clubhouse is minimal. Range is good.
