About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Making improvements but course in bad shape
Course has been going through some much needed renovations which is much needed. I’m glad they are making the improvements it the condition of the course was less than desired. Hopefully it will show better in 6 months. Cart paths need a lot of work

Great layout with amazing greens
This course doesn't have an amazing clubhouse or GPS in the golf carts. The surrounding area is very forgettable and not the best views. But the playing surface, layout, and greens were unforgettable. I'm not saying it's as memorable as Bethpage Black, but the elevation changes and slopes of the greens were reminiscent.

Difficult course
The course has a nice setting. Some really nice tee shots. But some of the holes are nearly unplayable with your shot running into either water or out of bounds. Really difficult to play par golf.

Great layout. They are doing maintenance on the bunkers which was great to see a course constantly looking to improve the layout of the course for the players

Great greens but bunker maintenance
Always love the greens here. Hole 13 was closed for bunker maintenance. All bunkers being rebuilt. Course starting to green up. Fairways still very fast. Some very hilly holes. I don't like hole 11 since there is no easy layup area.

Hole 18 closed and was not informed until we got there
Hole 18 closed and was not informed until we got there. It stated bunkers were under maintenance but #18 being closed was not mentioned. Would’ve been very nice to know. But with as much greed that’s in this world it doesn’t surprise me

Awesome As Always
Try and play here once a month or so, just wish it was closer than an hour away! Matt is one of the nicest guys to deal with and the course is fantastic right now! Lots of money being put into the course and it's starting to show. Cannot wait until warm weather gets here and everything turns green.
