Eagle Chase Golf Club

I love Eagle Chase and they put their money where it matters- on the course.

I do not love 5 hour rounds and standing on every tee box while the group ahead hits multiple balls each, has conversations on the green after putting out….

Excellent course on fine condition. Wanted to walk, staff suggested that wasn’t great idea since it is quite hilly. I’m glad they told me that and made better decision to use cart.

Extremely slow pace of play. No halfway houses/bathrooms other than portapotties. You’re in danger off of the tee multiple times throughout the round as the fairways are right up next to each other. We almost got hit 3 times in 13 holes… we left after 13 as it had already been 4 hours and 15 minutes and there was no sign of it picking up as we didn’t see a Marshall come by a single time. No bev cart on fridays, even for the PGA Championship weekend, just seems like an oversight. Greens rolled nicely & layout was solid. Wish we would have had a better experience. Would recommend just driving up to Rocky River if you can

I play A lot of courses in and around Charlotte. I consider this one to be the best.

We had to wait 10 minutes to tee off on each hole so it took 3 hours to play 9. Strong manure smell too while we waited to hit our shots.. Other than that the course was great but left after 9 extremely disappointed.

Great layout with very good greens. Good range but modest clubhouse could use some TLC.
