Eagle Chase Golf Club

I consider this to be in the top 5 public course to play in the area. With over 50 rounds played it's my home course and it's always in great condition.

Starter was very friendly and gave some local tips for the course. Very challenging greens

First time visiting Eagle Chase on 11/24 and all I can say is wow! Excellent golf course with amazing views and awesome staff. Now that I have been to the course and played, it assured me that the price is absolutely worth it after all. Luckily I only live 10 minutes away from Eagle Chase so I believe I will start going there regularly now. I am a recreational not so great golfer who plays 3-4 times a month and I had no trouble playing this course despite lots of reviews saying it is challenging. Absolutely loved it.

A tad far, but worthwhile as the holes are tight but fair and beautiful layout. The range is also good. The 1st and 18th will get you chasing an eagle.

Excellent and very challenging course. Picturesque landscape with significant elevation changes. Well maintained course with excellent greens, fairway and tee boxes. Small but well maintained clubhouse and store. Definitely one of the best courses within an hour of Charlotte.

This course is kinda out in the middle of nowhere, but it was a nice find. I was visiting the Charlotte area and was supposed to play somewhere else that day, but due to a scheduling error, I had to re-work the plan. I was able to get on the course easily enough. I got paired with another single...really nice guy. Let me know about the course and what to avoid. We were SUPPOSED to play with the twosome in front of us but they (rather rudely) started without us and then pretended we weren't there for 18 holes. Nice. (in their defense, I don't think they were good and were embarrased by their game... but they didn't even ASK -- we waited on a tee box TOGETHER at least twice!). There's one tricky hole that is kind of just unfair, but the rest are solid. They has a sweet replay rate so I actually went around a second time and played from the tips on that go... I recommend the course. It's not overly fancy, but seems to be in okay shape and it's a solid design... OH - and it has some nice views. (big plus IMO)

Super friendly staff, good amenities and a really good course that is well maintained. A challenge for any standard of golfer. The natural geography of the area makes for interesting holes. Good golf is rewarded and poor golf punished….just how it should be.

Great layout and excellent condition. We will be back.

I love the Diamond Zoysia greens here. They roll true and stand up very well to lots of play.

I have been playing this course every week for over 18 months. There is no course that has continued to improve at amazing rates!! To actually see the money you pay to play being reinvested into the continuous upgrading of the course. This is unmatched by any course. The Diamond Zoysia greens are the best in the area. Slower than others but far truer and unmatched condition. This course will Challenge your game to the fullest. Definitely a course that requires a learning curve on how to play it.

First time playing this course will be going back in two weeks fun time nice people great pace of play equipment top-notch.
