About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Perfect If Not For Mud
4 holes were cart path only due to the heavy rains
Fairways were muddy in some spots
Greens were PERFECT
Short but beautiful challenging course
Very nice hilly mountainous scenic course, one should always play this course, it is short course from the white tees where I played but it is very demanding to be accurate for tee shot and approach shots, it is very pretty and in very good shape, the rain has done a lot of damage to the cart path but I’m sure they can work on that, I would recommend everybody to come and play that course at least once

Great course
Eagles Chase delivers again. Great course with a lot of interesting holes. Greens are in terrific shape and roll smoothly and true. Some fairways are a little hard and can use some water (weather forecast will be kind to the course this week though). Some cart paths ride the trees line so watch out for some bumps due to the tree roots. It’s a bit of a drive from my location but well worth it. I always enjoy this course and this time was no different. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great Course in the middle of Nowhere
This is an excellent course. The greens are in great shape and it has a fantastic layout with a combination of hilly and flat holes. It’s a little bit if a drive from Charlotte (45 min), but definitely worth it for the price ($33).

Great day of golf
Yes, the greens are terrific! Friendly staff and very fast pace of place. Lots of elevation changes, and very pretty surroundings. Every hole was unique, and challenging. Some of the tee shots punished a pretty good shot (some good shots roll off the left side), but that is a minor issue. Come play this affordable, fun, terrific course!

Gorgeous layout
I have always enjoyed this course because of the challenging topography at a reasonable price. Drastic elevation changes and rolling fairways make precision hits a necessity. The only thing making me pull my hair out is the speed of the greens! Some are like a kitchen floors....lightning fast with no hope of stopping the ball. All in all, one of my favorite tracks.

As usual eagle chase is beautiful but tough. Greens were in great but not fast.

Beautiful course at a ridiculously low price
If you want to catch yourself admiring the scenery around you for its beauty, this is the place to go. So green, so many rolling (and some steep) hills, so many birds, so many views to click with your camera. The greens were flawless, more so than any course I can remember. The fairways were admittedly a bit dried out due to recent weather, but they were still in good shape. Make the trek!
P.S. I'm sure the off-course amenities will be better after the virus threat ends. The clubhouse was closed.

Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden gem in the greater Charlotte area. The course was in perfect condition. Beautiful layout that challenges all aspects of your game. Great views and terrain. The only issue is the cart paths. Very rough and uneven.

Picturesque
This course is beautiful. The open fairways, streams and lakes, pine trees and the terrain all combine to make this course challenging yet fun to play.
My only negatives are the very uneven and bumpy cart paths and there is no place to get a 19th hole refreshment.

Best challenge around.
I've never had a round here and came off the course disappointed. Undulating greens and elevation change makes for a fun round. Do yourself a favor and take the drive.
