Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

The course was difficult which is nice but not we’ll layer out. I’ve never played a course that appears any thought behind it was left on hole 19. The teller had a bottle of anti bacterial p out in everyone’s visions and I asked for a pump. He treated me like I was trash from the ghetto the way he answered me the poor stupid f—k. We play everywhere but this place will never have us attend again...

Thats a terrible review of a hidden gem. 1 bad experience out of all these great reviews, sounds like you got up on the wrong side of the bed sir. Sunset Hills is a good course, try that out.

One of the best courses in the area!

I have played this course many times and I'm always amazed how good the course conditions are. Kudos to the team that manages the course. I would definitely play this course more if it wasn't an hour away. Course layout is fun and challenging. Tee boxes and greens are in great shape. Some of the bunkers could use some help, but otherwise the course is in great shape. I personally think this course has one of the best drainage. Good pace of play and nice practice area. I would highly recommend.

Great place to play.

Friendly staff, outstanding golf course.

50 mile drive to play but worth it. Try to make it 4-5 times a year.

Zoysia greens are rare in these parts and always in great shape.

Lots of elevation on the course, similar to mountain courses.

Cart paths aren’t in good shape but that’s the only negative I’ve encountered.

This course is always in great condition. The elevation changes are interesting and keep you on your toes. The greens are fairly fast this time of year and are kept in great shape year round.
