About
Lion's Paw Golf Links is an open, hilly course that treats the golfer to spectacular views of a beautiful creek valley and its adjoining wetlands. A wild and untamed layout, Lion's Paw features deep sugar white sand bunkers and MiniVerde greens.
A stunning 23,000 square foot clubhouse serves both Lion's Paw and Panther's Run golf courses and offers residents and visitors the perfect place to ready themselves for the upcoming challenge on the links. Designed with a safari theme, the clubhouse includes a full-service pro shop, a snack bar and Tamers Restaurant and Lounge, an elegant dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Lion's Paw has been described as Willard Byrd's finest work. Part wild, part rustic and quiet, this magnificent course presents a lion's share of adventure and breathtaking scenery.

Par 3
The course starts out somewhat tight but ooens up later. The par 3 white all around 180 with water in play, what water ? is the thought according to other golfers. Some greens were in bad shape, a virus going around affecting a lot of courses, but a good challenging course.

Underwhelming
Very disappointed. Fairways were in rough shape and the greens were no better. Some of the holes were enjoyable to play but overall I did not get the sense of enjoyment that I anticipated. After every round I pay while travelling I always ask myself - "Would I come back and play this course?' The answer was a quick one - NO!

Super fun layout. Excellent pace of play (Tuesday afternoon). Friendly staff was a plus
Nice Course Needs attention to detail
I wrote my review like that because I felt there was not much missing to be a really good course . The fact we were sent out with a score care from one of their other courses really bothered me. When we said something coming
back through the second nine the attendant seemed to chuckle.

Great Shape
The course was in great shape for the time of year but we did not realize the wrong card for a different course was on our cart until the second hole so it was not easy to figure things out until the back nine.

Very nice course
Fun course to play. We did the front nine and we were not disappointed! Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in as good of shape it could be for this time of year.

typical area course for this timeof year
lucky to get round in for play. drove through Torrential rain a d heavy hail storm. rain stopped at tee time. greens rolled good as well as fairways despite rain. cart path only which resulted in a good workout for this elderly man. would have liked to see thicker fairway grass and greens but corse played well.

Good bad and ugly
First time ever writing a review on here. Played Panther Run on Saturday and could not have asked for better. Pro shop, bag drop off and starter were great. Worked to get my wife and me off as a 2some and place of play was great and really enjoyed our round. Fast forward to today. Check in was fine bag drop and starter were great. We played Tiger Paw today. Not in as great if shape but given the amount of rain yesterday that was understandable and the fact it was cart part only was expected. Started raining hard on hole #6 and we called it quits after 8. It was cold and wet and carr path only did not help. My wife went inside to see if they offered any type of rain check. We were only looking for a 9 hole. The pro shop attendant was a complete jacka__and had nothing but wise remarks and unprofessional behavior. She said fine no problem but he did finally give one.
The good news for the pro shop jerk is we will not be using it. You undid all the great work of all the other staff but I guess being a wisea__ is more important to you.
Saved us from trying the other 2 courses on the property
