The Pointe Golf Club

As an annual visitor to OBX I never miss an opportunity to play this truly great golf course. Always a great day.

I messed up the tee time reservation and showed up a day early . The staff was great , were able to get us on the course seamlessly and didn't let on to my group what had happened. The course was in great shape , traps were immaculate, greens like carpet. Wonderful experience , great place to get away from the beach and hectic large family vacation for a few hours.

We played a day after the course had 6 inches of rain and there were very few overly wet areas other than some sand traps. The course is kept in great condition. I would rate this course as good as the Currituck Club, but at 25% less cost. It's a short drive from the bridge and worth your time and money.

Great place to play in obx.best time to play is on sat or Sunday early. If you don't get to bridge before 11 a.m. you sit in traffic. The fairways are generous in landing areas,but ball doesn't travel that well due to soft fairways in a.m.THe greens are excellent and guarded well with bunkers and are elevated on but bowls. U can't have them land short and bounce up. So over all nice course and tougher then yardage would make u think...

This course is a must play during your visit to the OBX.Best time to play is on sat or sun early during the summer while renters are arriving.You must play this in time to get to bridge before 10 a.m. I f you don't there us a ton of traffic at the light on other side if bridge.Now for the course...plays longer then yardage due to sift fairways and flush rough. The greens are protect by raised bowl and decent sand traps. You won't bounce to many shots up to green..but if you land on greens their nice and soft...tee shots aren't to narrow and fairways are large in landing areas... So in short 7 irons thru wedges are lost important clubs in bag...greens are nice and fair with being below home best place on greens... Enjoy

I always play this course when vacationing at the OBX. The practice facility is by far the best in the area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The conditions were impressive since a hurricane had hit the area only a few days prior!

Did afternoon play with a great rate. Course was in great condition and it wasn't too hot despite being later in the day.

front nine layout is where you might fair better, since the back side is tree lined a great deal. the greens roll perfect and the course was in excellent shape when I was there. keep the ball in front of you as always, cause some of the woods are typical for this area, inaccessible, and have nasty stuff in them, snakes, poison sumac, and ticks- stay out of woods, hike in a preserve, and you will love your golf outing!!

I played 18 here after finding a $20 hot deal on GolfNow - if you see one of these, grab it immediately and play here. I was paired with a father (single handicapper) and his daughter (who shot very well for her age) and another single. We had a great time and all enjoyed the course despite our varying levels of ability.

This course was well maintained, with just a few wet areas where my ball was a bit buried on landing. Greens were in good shape. Overall, beautiful course with some fun, but not punishing, challenges in shooting over water, marsh, etc. Playing at the Carolina Club this afternoon, and hopefully back here on Friday!

Nice track, good practice area, very nice course conditions, friendly staff. Very good pace of play - under 4 hours.

We enjoyed our round at The Pointe. Great staff helped us get out of the elements and off the course as a thunderstorm blew across the Outer Banks. Very good course for the money. We will be back.

The course has 13 holes that are touched by water but yet fairways are welcoming to us not so straight golfers. Great value for price and good service at pro-shop, Would definitely play again.

The course was in great shape & we all played well even with the wind.(3 of 4 players scored in the low to mid 80's) Have several friends that are members here & hope to become one soon as well.

I've played several courses in the OBX area and this one is among the best. Course was in excellent condition, we never waited. Finished in 4 hours. I'd say the $70 rack rate was fair but would have liked it much better in the $55 range - but who wouldn't!!

Overall a solid course for my level of play (15 HC).

Fun, challenging but not frustrating...always a fun 18 holes.

Always accommodating, great pace of play and the course is in great shape. Always happy to return here for a round.

Wide open. Unbelievable low cost on Golf now. Would play again for higher cost.

The course was very nice, what we saw of it. We started on the back nine and when we got around to play the front they had just let out 20 people so we played the back a second time.
