About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Nice Surprise for end of week
Found this course by chance. Was looking to play a quick 9 holes before heading home. Staff was very welcoming. Course was in great shape, other than being a little wet from rain the previous two days. This is probably the best value course I've played in the MB area. Good people, fun course to end the week. Thank you!

Nice course.
Course is shorter in length but you will need accuracy. Nice layout, fairways and greens were in great condition even with the 2” of rain the night before.

Great Conditions for a Public Course
We couldn't have been happier with the conditions, greens were smooth and rolled true, fairways in good condition and rough was fair! Course was very close to private course conditions. Great value! Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

Great track
The course is not long but with so much water it can be very challenging. Greens and traps are in good shape and the fairways are ok. I lost a few balls (water) which doesn't happen often. Really enjoyed playing here.

Great course...bring bug spray
Great course and great value....pace of play was outstanding! The only negative was the mosquitos. 7am tee time and the mosquitos are us up for the first 9 holes. My fault for not having bug spray in my bag, and, pro shop didn't have any either...

Better than expected!
I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Some nice elevation changes, which are rare in this area. Nice variety of hole designs. Course was challenging, requiring accuracy off the tee. Tree-lined fairways and small greens, which reminded me of my native New England. The long bombers won’t like it because the tips play at just over 6200 yards, but it was perfect for a senior like myself and basically the same distance that I play at anyway. Greens were a touch slow, but there was torrential rain the night before so understandable. All in all a good experience and I would definitely return!

nice course
The course was in good shape. The greens rolled fairly fast and smooth. The course was fairly short and narrow which meant you had to hit your drive straight. Overall I liked the course.

Beautiful course and very friendly staff!!
I will definitely play here again, very nice course and very friendly staff. Water coolers were full, sand traps were raked, fairways were excellent as well as the greens. Not too challenging but not easy either. Very enjoyable round with the wife.

36 holes in one day
This was the second eighteen we played this day. The heat index that day was 114. We obviously were overheated that day. We still enjoyed the course. The kitchen lady was extremely pleasant to work with. She gave us great service.. The food was fresh and tasty. The cart people were very friendly. A couple of the tee boxes needed help. The greens were great.
