The Valley at Eastport Golf Club
About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult. The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great place, I'm returning. A couple more signs for hole locations would fix things
We really appreciate your wonderful 4 stars!
Thanks so much for the great rating!
2nd nine much tougher and much slower
Course was average, greens had sand spread over it, fairways were ok. Overall needs a lot of love
We appreciate the honest feedback and hope to welcome you back again soon.
Thanks so much for the great 4 star rating!
Nice course, but not handicap friendly
I went with my son, grandson and my friend. I’m handicap and they had heavy rain the day before, so it was cart path only. I was unable to play 80% of the time, because my t shot was in the middle or opposite side of the cart path. Too far for me to walk and the person at the counter would not make an exception. But the course overall was pretty nice and not wet in most areas. The other 3 golfers enjoyed the course.
Thanks so much for your review, and we appreciate you coming out to the course!
Never again
Course in less then desirable condition. Cart paths horrendous. Greens choppy. My wife and I were a twosome. Starter sent us out early . Should have been playing with 2 other guys but I guess he thought we were more compatible with a dad And his 11 year old daughter who was just learning to play.love that they were playing together but she should not be learning on a 18 hole course at prime time . Disaster ensued. Nice people but we couldn’t take it any more. Stopped after13 holes
Extremely disappointed for the money we paid. Left after 13 holes.

Course needs a ranger to move. Slower players along. 4hrs 45inutes is too long. You need a beer cart girl too..
Good challenge
On vacation and first time playing this course. First big challenge was finding a place to park. Was so crowded ; which I guess is good for them, that many golfers almost missed teetimes while searching for a parking spot. Almost seemed like they overbooked tee times as we had to wait on carts and then have to wait on every shot ; sometimes for 5-10 minutes. The course itself is challenging as it is hilly and undulating with many blind shots with hills hiding bunkers or water. If you're unfamiliar with the course and/or don't have a good golf GPS you're playing a guessing game. Otherwise the course is in pretty goid shape with fast greens and the staff was very friendly. Interesting to play but the parking issues and pace of play dampened my enjoyment. Would give it another try and hope for a much less busy day.
