About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Challenging Course
The course is in good condition, somewhat challenging with an assist from the North Wind. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice course and staff. I wore a pair of jeans and was informed I needed khaki to play. The let me play anyway since it was my first time back in many years. I appreciated that and was glad I got to play. Will know next time. Course was in good shape and play was just at the correct pace.

Difficult Layout
4 or 5 holes would be challenging if not difficult for the average golfer. ie Good tee shot in the middle of the fairway but placement of large trees still prevent clean access to the green. Drop zones were not clearly marked. Overall the course needs work. I wouldn't play it again.

Ok course
Course was just ok. There are so many really nice courses in Myrtle that I would prefer to play. It was less expensive which was a plus.

Course was in poor condition. Cart paths an embarrassment. Fairways poor...Greens were average.

Course was in great condition for February. Dry. Greens were really good. Fairways a little sparse but expected for this time of year.
