About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Staff Ripped Us Off
We had vouchers for 4 free green fees from a tournament we played in. The vouchers were old but stated clearly that they never expire. When we made reservations we told them we had the voucher to which they responded no problem. But upon arrival they said no those are too old we won't honor them. WHAT?! How is that even an option? We didn't have time to find another course and go somewhere else but what a ripoff! You give out vouchers at a tournament and then won't honor them? I don't care how old they were if it states no expiration then you should honor it... period! We asked if they could at least help us out with a lower rate. They charged us $35 and said that's the lowest possible. That evening we're looking for another course for the next day on GOLFNOW and we find that course listed for $29 on a hot deal! We had to wait 20 minutes just to check-in because the guy was arguing on the phone with another dissatisfied customer on the phone. If you want people to come to your course, tell others about it, recommend it, and return you've got a lot to learn about customer service! There are plenty of golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area... don't waste your money on this place!!

This course had some unique holes
The clubhouse staff was very nice and there were definitely some unique holes that were good. There were only 2 of us playing and unfortunately had to wait at least 5 minutes or more on each hole.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Friendly Staff, challenging layout
This is a nice little course, loads of water and many holes require you to play smart or else you will be donating many balls to the surrounding water hazards. Not a long course, even from the blues, but it’s in good condition even after they deluge of rain the past two days. Everyone was friendly in the Pro Shop, Bar, Bag Drop and even the Greens Keepers. Definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back!

I put this course on my replay list
The course was fun to play again. We were paired with a very charming younger couple who enhanced our round. The only issue was the fringe areas were deep and mower clippings left behind created a problem of lost balls in plain sight. Water hazards make the course an interesting challenge.

Played here several times, Not a good round, missed several short putts but still had a good time.

Great Course, Good Value
I have played here at least 10 time in the past 5-8 years and this is the best I’ve ever seen it. Greens and fairways are in really good shape!
