Great course to play
Though the course was in bad shape in the beginning of the year it has recovered nicely, back to being a great course to play!
Not in as good of shape as expected
Website pictures are great however course is the lower 25% of the courses I play on the grand strand

Play it often
Greens were in rough shape this past Spring due to excess rains last Fall. I play it often due to proximity to my home. The greens and the course now have come back nicely. Give it a try, you won't be disapointed. A good value on the South Strand.

almost an excellent rating....
When I played in the early part of the year the greens were in bad shape do to a very bad storm, but are 100% better now and I think by the end of the summer I'll be rating them excellent. I'm glad I gave the course another try !

Course shape
The course was not in the best shape after the 100 year rain, but you have to hand it to the staff for bringing it back to last summer's condition. Don't miss the chance to play.

Good Features
Staff was great, fairways we in great shape, some greens had damage it's been a really hot summer nothing more than 3/4 of the courses at MB. Definitely will play again.

Greatly improved
Course has recovered from a bad winter! All greens are in good shape and putting well! Fairways are in excellent shape. Would recommend to all that played this course 3 months ago to come back and see it now!
Pro shop staff, bag drop people and the grill staff are the best.
We will be back. The maintenance crew has done an outstanding job getting this course back in great condition.

Greens are back
I have always loved playing this course until they lost some greens in the spring so decided to give it another chance and I was pleased to see the greens back and the course is in great shape. Enjoyed it.

Wachesaw East is back !
Wachesaw East was in great shape before the "hundred year" rain last October. Based what I saw today I would say it is back and will soon be excellent again. We played the ball down with no problem and almost all of the greens are now fully repaired and rolling great. Friendly staff and great practice area.

Like other area courses, they had some problems with greens this spring but greens are now very nice.

The greens had been airified and we're not very good at the time that I played. I wish that it had been mentioned at the time of the booking.
Showed up to play the day before and was told that the course was closed for maintenance. Had to find another place to play that day at another nearby course, Indigo Creek that was in awful condition. It should have been closed. The greens were so bad that it wasn't a fair test of golf.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience that the aeration process has caused you, but this is something that must be done in order to keep our course in good condition. We hope this does not deter you from coming back and playing another round with us in the future!
Golf now ugh!
Thank goodness for a friendly staff! Golf now did not let me know greens were punched. However the staff was up front and gave me a discount off the golf now rate. 5 stars for the course and staff. 2 for golf now on this one.

Honest Evaluation
I played this course with the understanding from staff that the greens had been hurt by the weather. Yes, some of the greens were in need of work and others had already been repaired. I then played the course a few days later and it was much better. Now, this is a world class course and can be difficult and I am about an 10 hdcp. I really enjoyed my experience and would welcome another opportunity to play it. I have played many courses including Augusta National and Pinehurst #2 and I can tell you that this layout is outstanding. The greens will be improved and the course will be back to its place among the very best the strand has to offer. Also, a truly outstanding and honest staff. I will see this course again soon. #17 and #18 are super holes.

Greens
8-9 greens are in bad shape due to previous weather conditions. I am surprised that the course is not closed to keep golfers off the greens and to get the greens back to the great condition I have heard they were in. Hopefully it will be back to normal soon but it is going to take some work.

NO GREENS!!
They have lost their greens! I mean seriously they are un-puttable. To be totally honest the only reason I'm not upset is because I only paid $15 to play here via a GolfNow "hot deal" but if I had paid $50 I would be very upset. After a few holes my playing partner and I just decided that if we hit the green we take an automatic to put and move on. Our pace of play was fantastic because nobody was on the golf course. Having worked in the golf course maintenance industry I would say they are going to have to tear the greens up and re-sod them . Hard to believe that this course used to host a professional event and it's gotten to thus condition.

While these eight greens are not in optimal playing conditions, the greens are still playable. To assist in improving how these greens look and to promote the golf ball rolling better, we have decided to keep these greens top-dressed with green sand. We are thankful the rest of the course including the other 10 greens are in good condition.
With warm weather ahead, we will continue to see improved conditions and will be back to normal sooner than later. We expect the greens to be fully recovered before the end of the spring season.

Terrible greens!
I was warned that the greens had been top-dressed, but nothing prepared me for the total lack of grass on the greens! Also, I had to quit after 9 (3 hrs), so I could get home before dark. Course was overbooked and lacked rangering. To his credit, starter was friendly and accommodating. Won't be back anytime soon.

Great Holes
The course layout has challenging holes and well maintained except that the GREENS were in poor shape with bare spots as well as overseeding . Distance between Tee Boxes require that one uses a Golf Cart.
