Nice layout but needs some TLC
Tradition is a great layout golf course with super friendly staff. The greens are in excellent shape but the fairways show a lot of play and the tee boxes are in very rough shape. They have overseeded with Rye which has come up but they haven't mown it yet so the grass on many tees was very high. There are many areas that need remedial repair especially bulkheads around greens with water or sand/water. Cart paths are pretty rough all over. Overall a decent course
Slow slow slow.
Nice course if you like a 5.5 hour round. We quit after 15 holes. And 5.5 hours. Waiting too long. No Marshalls to speed things up. They drove by several times but didn’t seem to do anything. Not a pleasant experience.

This course is fabulous! I love how the cart path meanders through the woods between holes! It gorgeous and is kept in such great shape!!
Great Golfcourse
Love the golf course. Nicely laid out, no surprises, and beautiful greens. Very generous fairways. My round coincided with a tournament which made for a 5+ hour round. A dinner reservation forced me to leave 3 holes early. I’ll come back and play all 18.

This course is exceptional!
I feel this course isn’t advertised as a really great course in this area but definitely should be!! It’s every bit as beautiful as the top courses here in Pawleys and actually had such a great layout taking such a nice beautiful route through the woods on the cart path. It is so nicely laid out!

Tradition
The course was not super manicured... probably because of all the rain lately... tee boxes need work.... greens were recently airrated but not bad..... pace kind of slow so I only played nine even though I payed for 18. Was paired with 2 others who only played nine... with it already being slow I was not going to try it as a single on the back... plain being slow foursomes. With a little extra care of child be a really nice course.
