About

Holes 18
Type Semi-Private
Par 72
Length 6905 yards
Slope 138
Rating 73.9

The 18 semi-private holes at Pine Forest wind through the tall Summerville pines with numerous live oaks, dogwoods and a lake system thrown in for good measure. With an equal balance of straightaways, doglegs and elevation changes, this course is nicely balanced, with challenges and fun in store for golfers of all levels. Rental clubs and electric carts are available.

At 6,905 yards with a 138-slope rating, Pine Forest lives up to its name, as the course has numerous barriers of tall Summerville pines to cause problems for an errant shot. The Bob Spence design also makes use of water to add to the difficulty of some holes. It's a semi-private course, and they've named each hole, with No. 12 being known as "Little Augusta" while No. 15 is "Wastelands."

Average Course

Pine Forest is very average. The course is certainly in better condition on some days and worse on others, but I've never played a day where the course was in great condition. Staff is extremely friendly, and fellow golfers/members are too, I do believe the cost is pricey for what it is.

Great course for the money!

It’s longer than most in the Charleston area. Very challenging! We will be back again!

0/5 😂

This course is a joke. There’s huge chunks of unmowed sod on the greens and un-manicured TEMP holes in the middle of par 4’s. Clay, weeds, trash experience. Played it for $35 but wouldn’t come back if it were free, I promise. Pay a little more and save yourself 5 hrs of bummer. Avoid at all costs. Cheers.

Course had a lot of rain, fairways drained and played well. Standing water in bunkers. Some greens were damaged and not yet repaired. Due to all of the rain, green speeds were much slower than normal. Golfed with a great group!

Love Pine Forest

This si my home club and even though I just started playing about 1 year and a half ago, I see the difference betweenthe value in this course and the others. The fairways and greens are always a great value.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE STAFF

i would NEVER book with this course ever again. myself and a friend were harassed by the “marshal” not once or twice but FOUR TIMES screaming at us telling us we were too slow, we needed to pick up the pace, making us show him how they golf. for $65, take your golf buddy / wife / friends out for drinks - don’t waste your money here. and if you even try to say something to the golf shop, they will refuse to let you talk to management, saying they will listen and handle things and they will always start interrupting you basically telling you how you’re in the wrong and they did nothing wrong. they don’t even let you talk, they talk and raise their voice over you. if i could give them about a million negative stars, this place would 100% get them!
