The course is under major repairs. Once completed it should much better conditions.

This course is on par with $75/rd courses and at the price it is an extreme value.

Pros: price, facilities, avg maintenance, value, smart carts

Cons: holds a lot of water, very basic layout, greens mostly flat

A lot of work still underway, still 4 temp greens. The main problem is the GPS system still shuts down cart unnecessarily in wrong places.

This course is in a major rebuilding; 4 holes have temporary greens. Give them a chance to complete their work before spending money to play.

Not a good day of golf yesterday. Two greens were temporary greens (basically a closer cut in the fairway) and we were not told about it in advance. AND the range was closed so that benefit for showing up early was taken away. I probably wouldn't have played there if I knew that in advance - especially since there wasn't a discount for this. VERY disappointing.

Also - the pace of play was so bad that our group have to wait for every shot. A marshal to speed up slow play would have been appreciated.

While I have played Rio a number of times, I don't think I will return anytime soon (unless I hear that changes have been made to pace of play and course conditions).

The course was great I will definitely recommend and will be going back

4 or 5 greens in the fairways - construction along many of the holes - bad conditions

GPS cart restrictions WAY overdone. Slowed pace of play. One courseworkee refused to move off green for play, even after lengthy wait. Look forward to elimination of temp "greens" with completion of new ones

Course in very poor condition. There were about 5/6 temporary greens, no mention of this when checking in at the pro shop. The main greens were very slow as if they had not been cut for days & the general condition of the course was bad.

At least it was a very quick round as not many were playing and the green fee was low.

A nice layout of holes but the condition let it down.

Course in good shape in spite of changes being made

There were 2 makeshift greens on each 9, surprisingly didn’t roll horribly given the conditions. No water or ball washers on the course. The squirrels are something else tho see for yourself

Very friendly staff, and the entire place is getting a facelift very excited to return

Driving range under construction, hopefully will be much better once renovations are complete

Course was nice but had 4 temp greens that was like putting on aerated dirt, just give yourself a 2 putt if you make it on the small circle they called a green. driving range was under construction so your only warm up is the single putting/chipping green. outside of the construction the course was in nice condition from tee box to greens. greens were on the slower side but well kept. Friendly staff but even friendlier squirrels, hide you snacks because they WILL jump into your cart.

It the best time to be playing this course as they’re repairing a couple of greens on each nine. Four temporary greens is a downer. In addition some of the other greens were not in great shape and were very slow. It took us 2:15 to play the front as it was very slow in front of us. We asked to replay the front nine again as there were fewer people teeing off in The afternoon. They allowed us to reply the front and we finished it in 1 1/2 hours! They said their greens would be finished Oct 1st.
