good place.
Great course for sharpening skills. 9th and 18th holes can get congested.
Worth the money
For a nine hole course with dual tees for an 18 hole experience, the course is very nice, the only thing that would have made it outstanding was to have a little speed on the greens, they are quite slow.
Do not bother
It is cheap. Definitely not worth it. They had the worst fairways I have played on, never seen so much dirt on the tee boxes, and the greens were in fair conditions. They didn't inform me one of the greens were down(hole 4), but there's a temporary hole in the fairway to putt on dirt. If you decide to play (I would not recommend it) I will give you some advice. Avoid the roughs, you lawn is in better shape. The fairways are dry and dead so if you can hit the greens on the first shot, go for it. The ground is solid so hopefully you stay flat and don't hit fat. If you hit it in the sand, your practically on dirt. There's hidden rocks, so look out or you will chip your irons. Pay the extra money to play a real course and avoid this very low standard course.
It's a shame this course is in such bad shape
Greens were in terrible shape, not well maintained at all. We only paid $18 for 18 holes, now I see why. This course needs a lot of work!
Good round for good price
The course was not in bad shape. Greens were just ariated so it was a little bumpy. Good after work round of play. The hills were challenging. Over all a good time.
Great course for practice.
This is a challenging 9 hole course and it is great that the second nine some of the tees play from different locations.
Greens need attention
The course is maintained adequately but has some very rough greens that need attention. Otherwise I had a good round for my playing level.
Nice course for the money
Played here several times and the pace of play is always good. The greens need work as there are many bare spots around the hole placements. Go in the morning before the kids arrive home from school. Sometimes there are children playing near the tee box or in one case a dad was out with his 4 kids and walking the dog on hole #8. But not a bad course to play for the money.
Good value for the price...
The course plays longer than the scorecard indicates. Although the quality isn't as strong as other local courses, they are making steps to improve. The hardest thing about the course is that the greens are very slow. Play was fast and mostly interrupted. This course is definitely a good place to practice your swing and distance.
You get what you pay for!
My first and perhaps last play here. Sprigs of long grass in the fairways make a cow pasture look better. Layout good except for a temporary green for holes 9 and 18. Rough so long that you can lose a golf ball in it. The restaurant was pricey, but delicious. Unless you get a great price, I would play elsewhere.
"Maintained+" course
I've reviewed this course before during the winter. Now its so close to pristine. The greens are fantastic - fast and very consistent. The fairways are in terrific condition, too. The areas of rough still need help as they clumps of grass rather than long grass. Bunkers are too firm. BUT, this is by far my favorite course and great for the money.
Great Value
This is the best affordable course in the area. It is an awesome course for beginners to take their time and learn the game, which I am currently. The greens still need alittle work left, and hole 9 and 18 is still unfinished which is a bit frustrating. Overall its a great course for its price.
Cheap but terribly maintained
We were able to play the 9 holes for $15/person with carts (before tax and service fees) but the fairways were like the grass in my front yard and the greens were terrible. The 9th hole green was so terrible I putted and it hit so many bumps from weeds it rolled 5 feet to the right of where it would have gone on a regular green.
Perfect for practice rounds for the price of range balls!
Fairways needs lot of attention and Greens too. IT USED TO HAVE NICE GREEN. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? PRICE YOU PAY FOR OVER COMES THAT.
THIS PLACE WILL GET BETTER SOON, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE.
The course is short and perfect for short games, and if you can get good scores from this course, you can do lot better on other course! And for the price, you can bring whole family to have fun here with fracture of cost.
This course is adressing the issue of the greens.
For the price it is an ok course. They are working on the greens and totaly redoing 9/18 which is one of the hardest and fun hole on the course.
Good Course for the Money
Tee box and fairways were in good shape; however, 7 out of 9 greens were in need of repair. Staff was super friendly, food was exceptional and all at a low price. I'll play here again soon!
Requires Maintenance
The course needs quite a bit of maintenance the greens were very spotty and had patches of crab grass the fairways were ok and the tee boxes were quite beat up its ok for a cheap round if you can get one otherwise not worth the travel to get to the course
Nice 9 hole layout
I have played this coourse on many occasions. Looks as if the greens got some type of disease and are in bad shape. Number 9/18 green was closed with a temporary that is not in a good location.
green is so bad for playing short game
i thought this course may be great for the money.
however, this course did not prepared for seasonal care.
green is so bad and dirt spot everywhere.
OK Course for Great Price
The course has some damage and is not in the greatest of shape BUT the price is great and easily overcomes the need for some course TLC. It is a good course to work on your shot or course management. Staff is friendly. Did I mention some great prices? I would recommend the course to friends and take people to play there due to the affordability.
