Played in 4 hours on a Saturday. Good pace
We have played here over the years and it seemed to be in better condition than in the past.
Great golf work out !
Lake Orlando Golf is a good Golf Challenge ....
Liked : Beautiful Lac Scenery + Friendly and Dynamic Staff .
Pace of play is good ,relax and respected by others.
Very narrow at times + lots of hazards area .
You have to be diccipline from Tee Off .
Course makes you manage all clubs in your bag.
Disliked : Course need love and care .
Lots of Dry spots from ...
Tee Off + Fairways and Greens
Better distance info of hazards and layout from Tee Box
Good value for the price.
This course has lots of water and mini jungles. It is best to use long irons or hybrids off most of the tees. It is not a forgiving course, as the fairways are fairly tight. A good value at only $25 for two including a cart! You will also see the occasional alligator and lots of exotic water fowl for nature lovers.
Much improved
The course is much improved and I enjoyed myself. It's a tight course and the upkeep has improved greatly and I look forward to my next round at LO

Course in better than average condition. The included GPS on the golf cart was useful to get distances and be notified of traps and water hazards. Would play here again.
Lovin' the charm & potenial at LAKE ORLANDO
Think about your hometown Muni course that is well designed, a great layout & very memorable - and that's what you have at Lake Orlando.
Lake Orlando's par 3 holes are five star rating. Par 4's demand pinpoint accuaracy and decipline. Bring lots of balls if you’re hitting it off line.
Course needs some love in the condition category - better bunker raking, more watering etc...but it's the type of place that you can see the potential - routing is very good and memorable.
Greens were good and rolled much better than you'd expect.
Course staff is aces!!! Everyone was very friendly at check in, at first tee and post round. It's definitely a course that the regulars & local LOVE.
And by the way - you can't beat the price! 18 holes & cart for how much????
Staff even gave me a yardage book to use because all GPS were in use - classy move.
I'll be back at Lake Orlando when I'm back in the area.
Poor Conditions and Awful Staff
This is not a course I recommend going to. The staff and some of the people they allow to play there is not worth even going for free.
they have made some improvement
This is the first time I've played here and didn't baptize a few ball; making it a delight to play again.
Interesting water challenges
Course in great shape, friendly staff. We had a great time!
Course was in better condition than expected. Bunkers and tees need work.
Enjoyed the layout and pace of play. However, tees and bunkers need work.
This course has a lot of dog legs and challenging approach shots.
It is a decent course for the price on golf now.com. It is pretty challenging and winds around a lot of trees and water hazards. I would recommend it to my friends. Although the course needs some work and the greens need some rolling.
Tough But Fun
Love the layout. Very challenging because of narrow landing areas and small greens. The course could use some attention but is in playable condition. The greens are slow because of the winter rye, but are usually faster in the summer when the Bermuda comes back. The course is a great value epically in the winter when the nicer courses are so expensive.
Short course with alittle bite.
The course has a nice layout, but requires some maintance. My girlfriend and I enjoyed playing the course. Great price and a good change from courses that are long and open. Your driver is not needed for most holes. Homes are close on some holes, but not a major concern. Lots of water, but fair. I would play this course again. Great find for the price.
Typical Florida tree lined course w/ a few unique holes.
1:38pm Tee time w/ golf buddy. Target golf. Fairways sparse but plush enough. Rough sparse but high, making slow spotting of errant shots. Greens small & medium paced but rolling true. Tee boxes & sand traps need attention. A fun & challenging old school course. Always able to find good price deal for this course any time of year. Will play again.
Bring a few extra golfballs.
a very challenging course(for beginners like me) but great price and great staff.
The course and specially the greens need attention.
Green have holes and yellow marks all over, ball bounced badly. Fairways are dry. You couldn't ask for much more for the price, I guess.
tight fairways and small greens
This course is good for the money. If you want to work on your game this is a great place to do it. Major challenge for long hitters. CLUB DOWN AND KEEP IT IN PLAY!! You have to be straight on all the tee boxes and on target with irons into the greens. Overall a great test for a great price.
It is what it is -----not the greatest of conditioning, but good value for the money.
Hitting the ball straight is a must for this tight course. Bunkers need raked & maintenance, and fairways are a pale shade of brown, but greens are putt'able ..........and its still golf at a cheap rate.
Ragged & Wet
Sitting right on Lake Orlando itself, this course has a lot of water present, most bunkers were wet and muddy..greens were bad to truly pathetic..some fairways are tight and need an extreme amount of attention..this course shows its age..back9 was more enjoyable than front..cheap rates match its low quality..driving range also needs work, you hit floaters in to the lake ..
It is challenging, water on every hole. The fairways need a little work but fits the price.
The is one of my favorite courses. I lose a lot of balls here. The shorter tee box allow you to play it safe, lose less balls and have a good time.
