Zellwood Station & Country Club
About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Hole # 10 Photo submitted by webelos on 11/17/2013
Not worth 25 for 9
This course was below average the fairways were awful the tee boxes were dirt with barely any grass and the starter was very rude. Positives were the gentleman in the pro shop was very nice and the greens were in good condition.
They are who we thought they were
Greens were in great shape. It’s a large tract to keeping everything pristine is impossible. Would definitely take a group out
Stay in the fairway!
Greens are good.
Fairways are fair. (need rain)
Tees areas are small and rough. This course gets lots of play. Some tees are not flat.
Miss the fairway and expect a bare sandy lie with some scrub grass mixed in.
Deep ravines on the sides of fairways on about 6 holes.
Greens in excellent condition, tee boxes and misc fairways need real attention. Many different hole setups and strategies needed.
Returned the next day
Told our friends about the course and they played with us today.
Course Needs work and Water.
Greens were extremely dried out. They were very difficult to putt on and they couldn’t hold a shot on green.
Tee boxes need some work.
Kind of disappointing.
I guess you get what you pay for.
It took me an hour to get to the course. I always wanted to play there. Reviews said it was in good shape. It wasn’t.
Ball range shortage?
Greens were great, some tee boxes still need some TLC but for the price is great. Biggest thing is they have got to figure out a better way to keep range balls in stock. No way this great course always runs out of range balls!
Nice Course. I'd go back
I enjoyed my round at Zellwood Station. The course was in good condition. My only issue was with the restaurant being closed on Sunday. It's a golf course. Not to have food available on one of the busiest days of the week is silly.
