About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Zellwood Station Golf
This is the closest course to my house and it seldom disappoints me. We play at least a couple of rounds a month here because of its location and great pricing! The course is always in generally good shape and is challenging at times! The whistle stop restaurant provides a great menu of food choices and a full liquor bar with good prices!
Be careful not to get caught up in a big group of members if you’re trying to get through the course in good time but other than that you’re good to go…Bro!

Great course for the price
This was my first time playing here. Had a really good time. Pretty fast greens. Fairways are pretty decent. Some weird grass here and there in them but overall solid. Lots of up hill blind shots but most of them play straight forward so it’s not too bad to figure out. Played really good here. Would definitely come back again!

Fantastic Value
Thoroughly enjoyable round at Zellwood Station. Got a friendly welcome in the pro shop after the drive up from Davenport. Course undulates a lot more than the normal Orlando courses and fairways and greens are both very good (greens faster than they look especially downhill) - no wonder the practice green is slopey!! Pace became slower after the turn with 4 groups somehow on the 12th hole. Thankfully a marshall appeared and things improved. Holes on Crater Junction a bit gimmicky but good fun. Can’t believe how cheap it is to play and far better value than many Orlando courses - worth the journey and I look forward to returning.

Great value
Very nice course for the price. Greens are in really good shape, fairways are very playable. A few patchy areas, but not bad at all. Only real issue was with pace of play from local members., and course etiquette. Driving carts up next to the greens, and no regard for the back up created by slow play. The course itself is well worth playing.

What a Fun Challenge!
We started on the Back 9, greens were healing but rolled really well. I will definitely be back veggie the snowbirds have established themselves. Gr8 track w/ fun challenges for all skill levels!

What a Gem!
I'd been wanting to try this course for quite some time and was not disappointed. Played from the tips and had one heck of a time. Blind tee shots add drama and the greens rolled despite healing. I can't wait to try it again. It's legally be back in about two weeks with our without my buddies! Gr8, fun course.

Hidden Gem
Right now this course is in very nice shape from tee to green. It was aerated 3 weeks ago and has come back nicely. If you end up off the fairway, you might be challenged, but other than that it’s a great rate for a course that has stepped it up in course conditions. The restaurant has been a pleasant surprise as well, with new manager who has definitely put his own stamp on the service, quality and ambience of the food service.

Decent layout, HORRID conditions
No sense spending a lot of time on minutiae; the course could be alright if it were maintained, but the sod on the tees, fairways, rough and greens was consistently awful. Greens were shaggy, super-slow and sanded. Bunkers were not maintained - weeds, unraked, overgrown lips. Just not enjoyable to spend the day playing a goat track when you were expecting a golf course.
