Poor Conditions
I hate to give bad reviews, but need to be honest about poor conditions.
No grass on tee boxes. Looked like broken tees on EVERY tee box hadn’t been picked up in 2 weeks. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that in 50 years of playing golf. To me, that shows a total lack of care and respect for the property.
Standing water in sand traps and very little sand.
Cart paths in terrible condition.
Couldn’t roll a straight putt on most greens because of weeds and bare patches.
The layout is really good. Too bad the conditions are so poor. So much potential being wasted.
The course was horrible
7:00 tee time and when we got to 7th hole was told by the starter that there was a shotgun start with 48 players starting at 8:30 and he would try to fit us in and the course was rated 4 stars and every tee box had 50-100 broken Tess on the ground and had very little grass and the fairways and greens weren’t any better finished 9 and found another place to play
Both my son & mysrlf thought the course was mediocre at best. The greens had weeds growing on my greens, tee boxes so hard that it was hards to put a tee in the ground, terrible pace of play as we waited on most every shot we hit, no rangers trying to move players along, people in front of us had a 5-6 year old girl hitting shots most every hole when they knew we were waiting & she wasn’t playing,…just a kid hitting bslls 15-20 feet on every swing, etc etc. Woukd never play there again !
April 2026
I understand the whole Southeast is in a major drought, but sometimes you need to assist Mother Nature. Course in general needs watering. Like playing on clay, traps did not have much depth, very hard packed. Greens were bumpy with small weeds. Tee boxes needed s mall drill to get tees in
Eagles Point
Greens were horrible. Pace was not great. Cart paths were undrivable because of roots. played the course a few years ago and it was much better before.
First and second 18 holes of the year
We are from Quebec City, Qc, Canada, so this was our first 2rounds of the year.
We like Eagles Pointe golf course, it is feasible for us to play close to par, we play best of 4 balls.
First game + 6, second game +1, so it’s getting better.
Thank you for the easy way to reserve and the great kindness to receive and accommodate us.
We will try to come again next week.
Thank you
Very best regards,
Gilbert
Badly maintained course
Greens are not good and the fair way was patchy on some holes. TEE BOX on most holes are very dry and hard to tee your balls. The greens are not rolled properly but it was a nice challenging narrow fair way that requires you knowing exactly where to place your balls on the fairway. Ill rate this a 4/10. This course needs work maintenance wise.
Great municipal course
Very efficient check in with friendly starter and course rangers. A very pleasant experience 😀
Spriggy Greens - the only playability negative
No chance of true rolling putts under current conditions, but for the price you can still have alot of fun. Staff, amenities, layout are all great. Also desperately need new cart paths. Drive cart on the grass as much as possible unless you want spinal compression, broken ribs, and/or CTE.
Great layout
I really like this course! Fairways are average for this time of the year with no rain. The Greens are good, the tee boxes are really hard to tee up, ground is like cement. Understandably, we are in drought conditions!
Fantastic
Fantastic course, friendly staff. Course in great condition, will be back
Dry
They do not irrigate this course. Could not put tee into ground
Eagle's
Excellent/friendly staff; good layout and condition
Bunkers in fair shape; will play here again.
