Nice course to play, some challeging holes. Because of the lack of rain, the course was hard and you got much more role from your drives and other shots.
Greens, somewhst slow, but in decent condition. Cart paths need some repaires in places, but i
I didn’t have to play off the cart path, so no big deal.
Layout Good, pace good, course ok shape
Played yesterday morning, my wife and I were the 3rd group off. No problem with pace of play. We played in 4 hours and still let someone go through us. My wife is a beginner but we plays fast. Conditions of the course was just ok. Greens were very slow, shaggy and bumpy. Hard to make a short to medium putt. Forget about getting a long putt close. Course is a nice layout. Premium of keeping shots in fairways. Tees boxes were green, grass was long on tees but they were hard as cement. Normal winter conditions. Since we played in the morning have to expect maintenance happening. But every hole They had the green mower following us for the front nine. It was explained to me that they mowed and changed hole locations on the backnine first. This was because an event was going to happen starting on back nine. Finally, after round we were going to eat lunch there but all they had was hotdogs and chips.
All in all course was nice a few distractions, Shot 49 on front nine, but 35 on back nine. (Less distractions). Was 1 under on back until 3 putted from long distance on last hole.
I would probably play again but more in spring.
The course layout was challenging
The layout was very good, the pace was excellent, we played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours. The greens were very slow, they needed to be rolled and cut more frequently
Bad weather, good golf!
Excellent value and fun course. Pro and staff very nice.
Good experience
Considering that we were playing at the beginning of March after a fairly cool and drab February, I thought the course was in pretty decent shape and slightly better in terms of layout and conditions than the other off-island courses in the area. The greens were in good (but not great) shape, but very puttable. The only real negative was that that the cart paths were very bumpy in spots due to tree root growth. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall a good golfing experience and a good value.
Canadians play golf
Great day on the course and plus better than shovelling snow
Pleasant surprise
First time at Eagle’s Point. Just played 9 holes but it was enough to make me want to return for a full 18. Very friendly pro shop and back shop. Tees were a little rough, greens were slow but loved the layout. Bunkers and fairways in great shape. New carts. Range and short game areas in excellent condition.
Fun Course in SC
I have driven by this course multiple times and wanted to play the Par 3 that you see from the road. It was a fun course that had some challenges, but nothing too crazy. I would love to come play it again when it is not as wet.
Eagles Point Fun
Always a fun course to play. The greens have improved since last year. The sand traps need TLC and had puddles from previous rain. The greens show some fescue but were puttable. If I paid 120.00 would not be happy. However, for a reasonably priced course it is fun with nice people running it. The starter, inside employees and cart workers were very nice.
