Friendly layout

Nice condition all bermuda-grass course. Lots of lateral water and sand but not too many forced carries. Keep it straight off the tee and go low!

Great Experience

Really enjoyed the day. Pro shop was welcoming on arrival and the starter, Pete, was great. Helped me get out quickly as a single and go off the back to allow for faster play. Greens had been aerated but only one was pretty rough. Would enyoy playing again. Well worth the price.

Great course

Only hiccup I had was when I saw a bunch of folks teeing off the first hole i asked to play the back 9 and was met with resistance until we got to the starter and he saw that the group of 4 that one guy couldn’t even hit it off the tee that he then allowed us to start off the back 9. Course was in great shape, really enjoyed playing with a local from down there named Mike. A lot of the holes him and I were walking up on the green sayikg birdie or par. Started raining on me on Hole 17 so I drove back in and in the last lake I saw the hugest alligator so don’t mess around close to the water folks. That thing was huge.

bumpy!!

All good with the exception of the cart paths!!! It was sooooo bumpy that you could almost fall out of the cart if you didn't go very slowly. Also made everything rattle (golf clubs)

HHI trip

Eagle’s Pointe was mildly disappointing in the greens category, which were rough, many had bare spots or had uneven grass areas. The sand traps were thin sand at best and water/mud at many. The layout is nice, facility very nice, and the people were great! Playable but not notable!

Great in May

Great course, nice layout although some holes seem ‘samey’ in looks, some greens in latter stages of repair. Plenty of wildlife to add to the round.

Cart path and greens

The tee boxes were clearly neglected as a lot of discarded tees was scattered everywhere. The fairways were good, but the greens were in rough shape, likely full of annual bluegrass, and nearly impossible to putt on with any consistency.

It had rained recently, so being cart path only was understandable. What wasn’t acceptable was the condition of the cart paths. They were terrible—tree roots have pushed up sections all over, making them uneven and a pain to drive on.

I won’t be coming back anytime soon.
