Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

I was by my self because I was not paired with anyone else and there was no starter at hole one.

This place has made great improvements since its purchase by new owners late August last year. You can see the difference and the investment they’re making to turn this excellent layout back to the conditions it deserves. Still work to be done, but it’s encouraging to see the massive progress they’ve made so far with turf conditions just halfway through this years growing season. Check it out for yourself and give it another try if you’d written it off previously.

The design and the “used to be” is all there but this place seems to be run with the absolute minimum staff and effort. Very few people to greet and interact, although friendly, and they closed the bar and food area before we were finishing up at 3pm. Course looks like it’s virtually abandoned to any real maintenance other than a mower. This course could be a great public course if the money was spent to bring it back.

First time playing this course. Layout is good and has some good areas to challenge any golfer.

Tee boxes has more weeds than grass, greens were in terrible condition most bunker had no rakes and half of them had water in them, it hadn’t rains in 4 days. I would not play this course again. Very disappointed in a Davis Love course

This was a very lovely course. Great fairways of southern landscape beauty. Somewhat forgiving but spots will bite you with trees and water. And the greens were very challenging. I would love to play again when back this way. As one who began playing in earnest in December, it forced me to think through my shots. I was with intermediate players who said the same.

The course was in fair condition with some of the greens just coming in.

The staff took over 15 minutes to check me in and then acted like I was late for my tee time. The bunkers are unplayable and the greens are SLOW and ROUGH. Course layout is tough but fun. Restaurant was advertised as open but there was no worker to be found. And the staff ignored me when I asked where the restroom was.

I was charged on May 7, $238, and $3 for booking a tee time. Then again on May 8 , $11. We paid for our green fees at the golf course, I was charge for the 4 fees, why?

Great course, great price. Very nice e Staff. Will definitely be there when I'm in the area later this year.

Played this course 3 years ago (in April)and the course condition was in rough shape. Was told new management was coming in and improvements were planned. Did not see any improvement this year. To bad cause I like the layout. Lots of bare areas. Weeds in the greens. Lousy sand in bunkers. Could have potential as a fun challenging course.

Traps not groomed, Grrens need help and slow. Nice layout but conditions less than expected for the area. Golf now price was good.
