The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.

Good Conditions
Cheap Course for its location. Good layout, there are some tough holes at this course. The first few greens were in rough shape but as you got to #3 they looked and played great. Really happy to play there for the cost and would definitely recommend.
Enjoyable, quick
A good place to stop while traveling to or from HHI
Course condition
The entire course was full of weeds and dirt. The tees were indistinguishable from the ruff. The bathrooms on the course were closed (out of order). Sand traps were not raked throughout at our 8:12 AM t-time. Several of the greens had areas that were un putt-able… had to take relief to putt (ON TNE GREEN). They kept sending singles out behind us which was frustrating as we courteously let them play through. Didn’t see any rangers, beverage carts or any golf personnel other than the cashier when we paid. Can’t believe Davis Love III allows his name to be anywhere near this course.
Overview
Course is recovering from lack of maintaince since new owners. Layout is great but greens are terrible due to Poanna infestation. Fairways are good tee boxes are poor.
Great value, friendly staff
We played here 6 times in April. Each time the same; friendly staff, no one in front of us, no one behind us. Course ok condition. Great value.
First round of the year
Very nice course. Good mix of holes. Greens on front 9 could be improved. Enjoyed the round!
Bunkers and tee boxes in bad shape.
Also greens were tough to putt on due to poor conditions.
Terrible condition
Some greens were unplayable. Need a hammer to put a tee in the ground. Fairways were weeds and bad grass. Layout was nice if they would put some care into the course.
Great value
I love the layout of this course. Landing areas are generous enough. Greens are large and have some character but are fair. Saw two of the biggest alligators I've ever seen on holes 17 and 18.
Poor Greens
I had played here in the past and it was in great shape.. Great layout and staff very friendly . BUT these are the worst greens I have played in years. Don’t know what is going on but very sad to see the course in this shape, would not play again even if it was free..
Course conditions
Fairways and greens need a lot of work. Many of the cart paths need to be replaced.

Overall it was enjoyable. Course definitely needs work but would play again
Nice Golf Day
First let me say the staff at Eagles Point is friendly and helpful. The course is slowly improving since last year. Is it perfect, NO, but heading in the right direction. If I paid a premium rate would have been disappointed but it is priced fairly considering the course at present. Sand traps are water filled and were mostly unplayable. I love the course layout. I will definitely play it again and enjoyed it greatly.
