About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Great layout - conditions improving
Eagles Pointe is a nice layout that has always had the knock of not being well kept. It’s clear they’re trying to bring it up to condition. A little way to go but moving in the right direction for sure. Great staff

Mainers Point of View
Nice course. Not like Belgrade or the Loaf but comparable to Lakewood or Old Marsh.
Not very crowded the day we played, had most of the front 9 to ourselves.

Excellent Value
Very nice layout. Very few blind shots or surprise traps/ponds. Course condition was a bit sketchy in spots, but not unusual for this time of year -- did not negatively affect play. Greens are large with lots of undulations -- challenging but fair. Cart paths could use some work in some places due to tree root intrusion. Course was almost empty, so no trouble with pace of play.

Nice layout
Beware all of the tee boxes were saturated with water. They must have overseeded. There was no warning. Otherwise it was a decent round.

Sad course maintenance and conditions
Greens were in poor condition.- no turf in many places. Some fairways and tee boxed were almost unplayable. Cart paths have not been maintained. Staff were the only bright spot of this experience. SAD!

Struggling course conditions
Fairways were very bare. Fairways and greens had excessive disease/bare areas. Tee boxes were in terrible condition. There are too many good options in the area to recommend this course even at $50/round

Better Than Expected
From previous reviews, we were a little unsure of the conditions on the course. There were wet muddy areas parts in front greens. All in all it played better than expected..
