Golf course was in really good condition and enjoyed the layout. Pace of play was great. Never felt pushed or had to wait. Thanks

Starting with negatives - a few of the greens are rough and need repairs.

Old south is a challenging course without being impossible. They have a nice driving range and practice area. Nice restaurant, clubhouse etc. You can set your watch by the starter. The course is well kept, groomed and the bunkers have sand in them. More than I can say for several places. The staff I encountered were all polite, professional and helpful. Yes- we’ll be back.

The course had amazing views and great staff that was happy to help in every aspect. The course was well maintained and had lots of unique holes. Course is a must play in this area.

Course in great condition except for the greens. They were terrible and almost unplayable. It was cart path only, and fairways were quite wet. Stilll a nice track to play at a reasonable price. You

The staff, food and layout was great but the greens were horrible. Not worth $70.00

Never played here before but I’m willing to play again when I return to the area.

The forced carries over marshland were a real challenge for my girlfriend, who doesn’t hit the ball a long way. The only issue I had with them was that I couldn’t really get a sense visually of how far away the landing area was, but that’s more a “me” problem. There were markers on the tee telling me how far it was, but the numbers were way off what I’d have guessed, so might need to get my eyes checked.

Pace of play was hard to assess as it was cart path only and we were a twosome behind a foursome. They let us play through on our 8th hole and we sailed along after that.

Greens had some burnt areas but that’s probably normal for this time of year.

Will definitely play again.

Enjoyed our first time at Old South overall. Some of the greens needed repair.

Nice, challenging layout with several doglegs. Patchy spots on the greens and fairways. Like most courses off the island, it plays looong.

Was really expecting greens to be in better shape. Tees were basically sand. I will go back though since I really like the layout.

The layout is as good as it gets in the HHI/Blufton area. Greens were not in good shape but still playable. Still one of the best values around.

Tee boxes, fairways, everything in great shape. Saying the Putting greens were stressed would be an understatement. The heat has been bad recently which does not help but was surprised on the condition of the greens. Everything else was top notch.

Greens were still healing from aeration almost 3 weeks prior. Should have been discounted.

The course overall has some interesting holes. The greens are not good at all. A lot of bare spots and your putts will bounce because of it. The staff was super friendly. If the greens improve I would increase my rating
